Screen name on UB NioNio

I was watching Phil get his ass kicked and I guess that account is being investigated as a superuser account on UB

Played like 8K hands, up $600,000 and then all of a sudden the account was gone,

....These accusations and concerns are exactly why I stay away from AP and UB.  I thought superuser accounts were dead and gone....of course, multiaccounting is the same thing.

No wonder poker won't ever be legalized.  Too much shady shit going on.

But to answer your question....no idea.  I don't play there.

I was reading about this the other day. There is a pretty long thread about it over on 2p2.

this isnt really big news because it isnt happening now, all 8k hands were played before sept 4th of last year. it would be big news if there was a new super user account now. with that said, i dont play on UB or absolute

some of those graphs looked pretty damning...

Just read the entire 2+2 thread and must say it's very unlikely this user was playing fairly. In fact, I would say this is more concerning than the AP scandal because his play does not stick out like a sore thumb. There are no T high hero calls and his river aggression is not infinity.

The damning evidence is purely statistical and practical... many good, or even great, HSNL players have come out saying that a winrate of 60PTBB/100 is simply unatainable even over as short a sample set as 3k hands. He's not winning huge sums of money on All-ins (where if you were 'running hot' you would expect huge profits w/ very small edges).

Looking at the graph, obviously his results are an outlier to the nth degree and coupled with the fact that he completely disappeared after Sept 4 when the AP scandal broke out is practical evidence.

We're all tired of conspiracy theories, constant dumbfuck n00b posts saying "omg.. is this a superuser?" where someone makes a standard play, but the idea of chalking everything up to 'variance' is a mistake and we've all too recently been reminded of that fact.

I constantly see posts "who cares... why do people still play on ub/ab anyways?" The answer is elusive, but if you've studied the pyschology of a gambler it's a common practice.

Same stuff all over again...

Can we really be surprised there were more guys out there then the ones found on AP back when the scandal first broke out?

Yet I continue to see high stakes players frequent these "cheat" sites. Come on guys, get with it and stop playing there already. Enough is enough.

That graph is absolutely filthy. There is definitely something fishy going on there.

the fact he completely deleted his account from ub at the exact same time the AP scandal was being exposed is very weird.

The hand histories do not indicate super-user account play at all.
