Screen name on UB NioNio

I was watching Phil get his ass kicked and I guess that account is being investigated as a superuser account on UB

Played like 8K hands, up $600,000 and then all of a sudden the account was gone,

Does anyone read these forums?? I mean Jesus, this is such breaking news and only 1 reply, not even meant to be serious at all. Do you guys realize what this email means? UB was not only aware that cheating was going on, most likely in upper management, but they withheld all this info from the players until finally WE discovered it. I wonder why I even post this stuff here

GOSH!  That sounds almost like the same thing that the guys at Absolute Poker did!  Oh, wait ...

Re(6): Anyone know anything about nionio on UB {Possible SuperUser}

Yea, King Rube may have a tough time defending this one... This is an email I got from Phil Hellmuth today, absolutely sickening.....

Okay before I call you.......I do have some information right now as I got off the phone with a "very high up". It does seem that there are several superuser accounts that UB has just mentioned to me. They were holding off on announcing it due to reasons I am unaware of, but apparently this is a new strand, like you suspected (and I doubted) of superusers, unlike with the AP scandal. I want to apologize, but keep in mind I was simply a "promotional" figure with them. This is an OFFSHORE company. Apparently it will be very hard to persecute, just as with the AP scandal, since the money has already been withdrawn according to "Kushal" since this did occur several months ago. They are saying that it is most likely they will be UNABLE to retrieve those funds as involved in the dispute. If you have any further questions, follow up in this email, but give it some thought. Thanks for your understanding as they will continue to work as best they can to see what can be done, however as under the agreement when downloading the software "it is an inherant risk" to play online as with any site. Again my apologies for this being pretty embarrassing personally, and also on behalf of UB, sorry for the bad news....
Im over online poker. Sites seem to be run by crooks.

Thanks Drphil jr and others for bringing this public and forcing this investigation. This is gross. Im sorry about your monetary loss. I just noticed your new post in the nionio thread and, like you, couldnt believe there were no responses  which is why i made a new thread. It can be taken down if need be...

if gambling online is "an inherant risk" how am I to be sure no other sites have been compromised. it seems like these "offshore" gaming sites will do whatever it takes to save their rep and keep collecting rake.

If these problems keep on happening internally they can sweep shit like this under the rug for eternity and we will never know until we as players force investigations

Someone find the posts defending UB when the AP scandal broke.

It's not the point that is isn't happening now, it's the point that such shady scumbags would let it happen in the first place and then cover it up don't deserve a dime of anyone's money ever again.

Maybe it's just me, but you're a pretty big douche to continue to reward them with your business if you play at either one.

^^^ agree with threebanger.

Why does this site still have links to UB on here?
