i would have prbly folded preflop, and saved the money...against a couple weak players i might play it strong and hope to steal a decent pot, but you would have to know they were weak...you could call though and seea flop, but what when you hit an A, are you actually happy? so i say fold. or you could raise like you did, then you HAVE to call though, after commiting that many chips.....imho

EDIT* your best bet is to not play that crap with a raise in front of you early when you have a high m.

i dont know if u mean with that title that villain was attacking blinds... if that's the case, he's not attacking with blinds 40/80.
fold or call cuz its a normal fulltilt player raise u know, raise the pot. bet the pot. ugh i hate it

i guess i'm donk but im really surprised that i'm being told to fold AJ in BB facing a button raise. I feel like all the videos on pxf would play the hand but...like i said, what do i know. thx for the advice. any other opinions?

+1
either fold bc the initial raise screamed big hand... or flat it for same reason and assume he's holding a pair less then JJ...

Edit:  As played, I don't think I can fold there at this point as you're getting just better than 2:1 and stuck in that much of your stack.

****disclaimer****I am terrible****disclaimer****

I don't know that this is different since I play 2.25s but against a random I'm folding. I have to know that this is a regular who is going to raise a wide range and fold most of it, or a guy who has consistently made button steals in this sng, in order not to fold myself. If this is a reg I'm probably just shoving to pick up the 20% of my stack that's already in the pot and to try to limit his future steal attempts.

fold to the 31/2 times the bb raise with AJ at this level (80) he's not raising light enough for aj to be a +ev call/raise

this thread has me me thoroughly confused.... Are you saying that if someone raises 3.5x from the button it screams big hand?  Also, its player dependant but I'll usually be 3 betting from the BB w/ many Ax hands.  Its strange how nitty some threads are vs how lag some others are....
