A few days ago I rechived the following e-mail from Full Tilt

Upon conclusion of a lengthy investigation into the $500 + $35, "$1Million Guarantee" tournament held on October 21st, we have determined that you were among the victims of one player using more than one Full Tilt account in the tournament. Late into the tournament, a player who had already been eliminated took over the account of a player who was still in, which is against our tournament rules.

This is the 1 mio gtd Chris "BluffMagCV" Vaughn won HU vs me when I got disconnected.

As Sorel hasn't played a tournament on the Full Tilt Poker for almost a month (as duly noted in a p5 thread earlier this week) it can be pretty much concluded that 'Imper1um' has been banned from dominating the full tilt poker online scene.

The highlights of his career include two FTOPS wins in a PL event and a rebuy event on a different name because he was hacked!

Gl Sorel in future ventures! and now whenever a random name is crushing a tourney on the full tilt poker playing a very lag style, several ITS ZANGBEZAN! threads can pop up!

The whole Andy/Sorel thing is rediculous. You even admit you were playing poorly which means you were going to lose anyways, assuming there are almost no soft spots in the 5k HUs. We play poker for MONEY. It's a cuthroat business wher you always put yourself first. It's not a team sport where all the top internet stars look out for each other. If you knew you were playing poorly you should have just stopped playing, instead Sorel saw a good chance to make money and there's NOTHING wrong with that. Would you have brought it up if you beat him for 50k? I douuuuuuuuubt it.

It's fairly moot to sit around and argue both the facts and semantics with one another until there's some actually official statement instead of a bunch of heresay and speculation, open forums can be so ridiculous...

Its shameful to keep hearing about online pro after online pro getting outed like this.  I don't play tourneys much but if I made the FT of the Million there would be no way I'd ship my account out to someone else... how friggin rewarding would that win be?

Just wonder how bad the problem is here over in the cash game world...

Why would their be any problems in our great cash game world? Only major one in recent times was with AP and the guy on the god account. Theres also been the odd bot talk and odd case of collusion, but for the most part cash games are and always will be safe. Glad I stopped playing regular multi's a couple of yrs ago and learnt cash.

Yo fuckers,

Welcome to the world of online poker.  Sorel is a master of the game.  You cannot control the identity of the person you are playing against, that is the reality of online poker and that will never change.  This isn't the controlled environment of the casino.  It is eat or be eaten.  Economics of the situation will always lead people towards seeking maximum profit.  Sorel could have just as easily been sitting behind someone who was playing at a computer on their own account and telling him what to do.

Online poker is a different game and you whiners should stop whining and start petitioning for FT and others to change their TOS since the identity of the player is impossible to control.

People don't enter online poker to become the pope, they do it to make money, work other people to the maximum of their abilities, and work the system to the maximum effect without getting caught.  In this case, he should have webcammed with the guy and just told him what to do but he was too careless, perhaps because he realizes how stupid the ruling is to make the thing against the TOS when anyone can do it.

Peace out
