really tough spot vs a reg

I know wandigo is a reg and is fairly tight/solid.   he is probably not raise folding his stack in this spot especially with the sizes behind.  I think he open jams the weaker parts of his range some significant % of the time.  I know at first this looks like a trivial shove due to how short we are etc but if you actually think about what he is opening to that size with that stack in this spot it becomes alot tougher.  what do you do and WHY

dnt know wandigo's image but from here say if the assigned range is AJ+ 88+ dont you think ur gettin better equity by goin up against this range than waitin for a better spot with 11bbs? also is 100% hes r/c here? or is that an assumption b/c hes a reg?

seems to me like gambling in this spot could b more optimal than playin a 11 bb stack utg next hand...

edit: fwiw lately seems like opening 12-15bb stacks > shoving 12-15bb stacks is being done cause it appears hella stronger than straight stuffin these stack sizes guess it all depends on what villians metagame level is at

had a very similiar hand against belabasci tonigth at the $10r FT bubble...thought the same shit about how theres no way hes open foldin with his stack here...

i don´t really know how wandigo is playing since i have never played with em but i wouldn´t assume cause hes a reg that hes r/c 100% of the time.

i guess his opening range is prob a bit wider and since we kinda need to double up and get ourselfe back in buisness i wouldn´t fold.

depends a lil bit when the blinds go up, if they go up within the next 5min then i def would shove..

yeah i think fold here. idk his game though but he's got like 17ish bbs and UTG+1 he either has the same hand or we are beat. Don't think he's r/c w/ AJ here. If he open shoved i feel we pick him off as his range is now weighted to some weaker holdings.

i can't believe how many people are saying fold.

he never has anything in his range here other than a high pair or big cards? ever?

even if u break it down to where the equity is negligible or a close shove/fold... you're not going to find any more spots like this to achieve the same chip equity.

just fold down to 3 bbs and wait for aces imo

I don't really want to convince anyone to fold if I found a way to rep JJ/AK with under a 3x open

second hand id ship for sure.  belabsci is alot mroe aggro then wandigo and its just different.  i wound up folding but i can see why pikapp shoves.  hes saying that hed rather be 40% vs a range for a double up with 11bbs then like 60% vs a range for a double up with like 8bbs.

Exploitablity has exactly 0 relevance in this specific spot.

in the sense that this is 100 FO and the guys don't think about your range?

Half the guys at the table are regs.

Let's say everyone assigns him the range of 10+aq+ and play accordingly. Thus he can raise/fold any two cards profitably. Thus raising just that range is exploitable. It's just a wide version of he only has AA in this spot.

also the open raise with under 20bb range is only a current style issue since everyone is open jamming so much and not raise/folding with under 20, but in reality this proves little against the profitablity of raise/folding under 20bb
