Basically, the address of one of the cheating accounts is Russ Hamilton's address.

Nat, given that the scandal was 'covered-up' for so long with the guys involved having access to UB while it was starting to unfold. Is it not possible that they tried to frame others including Russ? He is an obvious choice imo.

I certainly suspect him but just saying it isn't time to take his knees out at this point.

Edit: Just read the rest of the 2+2 post, the evidence against Russ is exploding big time. Not much chance at all that he is being framed now.

Nat, I'd like to congratulate you, and those who worked with you in this case. You guys have done an impressive job investigating this scandal, and the online poker community can't be thankful enough.

I have a question to you tho: Do you honestly think this is the end for UB? I'm asking this, because even with all the wrong-doing we already knew, thousands of players kept playing there. Will they even care if the owner of the company himself was the one stealing their money? What difference does it makes in their minds?

The excuse many of them had, was that the cheating only happened at the high stakes, therefore, they were not affected. I always found this an stupid excuse. It's like saying: Oh, Coca-Cola puts poison in their Diet products, and the order came from their CEO, but it doesn't affect me, because I don't drink Diet.

I hope this is truly the end for UB, that would make it harder for any other online poker site to try to cheat their costumers in the future.

Congratulations again Nat, I think I speak for everybody in this forum, if I say that we are proud of having you among us.

FWIW, the "owner" you speak of sold UB almost two years ago.

Also, I don't think this is the end for UB.  I think the site has sucked and screwed things up for years.  If Russ & Co had truly played their cards right, they could have been up there with FTP and Stars, making incredible amounts of money.  But the site sucked, the support sucked, they screwed up things like the tourney schedule over and over, etc.  I think all of those factors were/are more likely to end UB than something like this.  People just don't give a shit for whatever reason.

So what happens now? I mean has Russ Hamilton broke any actual laws by doing this? Can it be proven and can/will he be charged?

Hw lives in the USA and there is more than enough proof that he has defrauded people.  I think the FBI should step in and get this guy indicted for violating several laws, including racketeering charges.  There is definitely enough proof.

Nat....have you contacted the Feds?  I think that someone should alert them and have them start indicting all these assholes.
