100 cube 9 max on ftp. No history or anything yet, no reads on opener either. da can be flatting wide but i dont put it past him to flat big either. What range are you 4betting here (assuming we are never flatting anything in our range) and what size are you making the 4bet?

why dont you guys like cold 4 bet bluff here or something? Dave do you realize the damage you could do to people if you ever went to 2345 here with air?

I doubt I'd even look at my cards before shoving here.

i think id like that way more if deeb had a few more chips...in this case, even with a small 4b, looks like u are going to be priced into calling deeb no?

If you don't shove, aren't they only coming back over the top of you with hands like QQ+?
So what's the point in only raising if you are priced in and only going to get shoved on by a bigger hand?

TT+ AQs+, i might be worried a small portion of the time about da professionals flat, but 4250 is the 4bet size

I like your thinking here Rock, but with Deebs stack size, i just dont see him hero folding much preflop. And 4bet folding would be atrocious.

such a brag post for having a bigger stack than gboro and deeb.....

I do agree that you could be bluffing profitably in these spots more often if u have such a tight image. However, I do like more a very small 4-bet when u have JJ and QQ since I think that da is folding the same range when either you 4-bet small or shove, but he is shoving when he has KK and AA and you can easily fold. Thats the "good" thing about having a tight image, that your decisions can be easier in several spots. If you started to 4-bet bluff more in these spots, people would start to adjust, you would lose some equity in these bluffs, gain some equity when you have monsters, and it will all come down to how well you could adjust to peoples adjustments of your image.

Will prolly elaborate more on the hand later though.

OOOOOPS I thought that deeb had 8k def prob theoretically bad to 4 bet fold to deebs stack. However, given that deeb knows this, and knows that dave is a tight player his continuing range to 2345 will probably be so significantly tight that it could very well be profitable to still 4 bet any two cards and fold to a jam with daves image. Sure its theoretically bad, but so is 3 ball folding 27bb stacks :-).

I like this line of thought....this is also why Deeb gets so much action that others don't...it is well documented what he is capable of which makes spots like these either real profitable for him, or real profitable for the person on his right who is capable of identifying the spot.
