Wow! I had a lesson with her last week. Thank you Jennifear SO MUCH for what you have taught me. So simple, yet so effective. She very quickly spotted and then helped to correct my main leak. She has ALOT of knowledge in the sng arena, and definately knows her stuff. Using what she has taught me, I went from $18 left in my account on stars, played a 11+1 turbo, got 2nd, then played a bunch yesterday, got 2 2nds and a few oterh cashes. I now have 350 in my acct, all thanks to one lesson w/ Jennifear. I know that's not alot, but it's ALOT more than the $18 I had b4 the lesson. Thank you Thank You Thank you Jennifear!!!!!!!!

Congrats on your immediate success- getting a lesson from Jennifear is about as +EV of an investment one can possibly make. To whoever said it "kills them" that you have to grind a ton just to make back what you paid her, that is a foolish statement. Poker is a long-term game- the information Jennifear teaches will make the student as much money in the long-run as he/she truly wants to make if they commit themselves with the newfound knowledge. She does offer a great value, is constantly helping in these forums for free, and knows her subject area as well as anyone.

Seriously, anybody who thinks it isnt worth the money is crazy. Whether youre a donk or one of the top players in your game, you can learn a lot from Jennifear. Two hours talking with her improved my ICM immensely.
If you want to improve your SNG game, you cannot go wrong taking lessons from Jen. In fact, she's so good that she made me want to give lessons - and the only reasons I didnt is because I wouldnt be as good as her, and I didnt want to run the risk of taking any business from her! She's one of the nicest people around, always willing to give advice and help people out, and honestly, there arent enough nice things I can say about her.
If you're even considering trying to get better at SNGs, sign up for a lesson with her immediately. Even if the price is steep for your bankroll, you will get it back many times over in the longrun. There is no point in playing if youre not playing well; invest that money in a lesson or two, get better, and then you'll be able to cash in for life with what you've learned.

Quote from Potatoloco
>>OMG, what are you doing playing the $11 turbos with only $18 in your account? You only >>have enough for .36 SNGs, maybe .90 SNGs. Learn how to manage your Bankroll, sheesh. >>*sarcasm off* >>>Seriously people, so what, he took a chance with $18. It's not like it'd end his existance if he lost it.
Thank You Potatoloco (or is it pot-At-oto loco).... you say...etc.....
I know that at least as far as I'm concerned, when I'm not doing well, my so called Bank roll is whatever i have in my poker accounts, PLUS whatever amount I deposit into them each week from my regular job paycheck.
If I have $50 in Fulltilt, I know I can play 4 $10 sng's and cash in at least one, if not more....does that mean i should practice BR Mgt, and just play Micros or freerolls.... hell no.
Bank Roll Managment is critical for a "Professional" poker player....but for the casual player, it is something that should be learned...for FUTURE REFERENCE.
When I go through losing periods... my BR managment is whatever I can afford to LOSE balanced by how much poker I want to play.
Luckely, I've been winning (at least for now)

I think that A Void and Epicatc have convinced me to take the remainder of my $212 and pay for lessons. I had $650 this time last week and have gone to crap. So I think its time for lessons. Was also thinking of just getting PXF or SNGICONs? But, I know Jennifear is so good and the reviews have been great.

PXF is very good, and Im sure SNGIcons also would help. Go with Jennifear first for one main reason: she'll help you find the leaks in your game and become a solid ABC player. Once you're there, then you can start learning more advanced topics like situational play and ICM, either from her or one of the other sites. PXF and SNGIcons both have interesting material, but worry about identifying and closing the holes in your game first; once thats done, you can start incorporating new concepts from all of these sources.

for one if you're playing 6.50s you only need 150. I'd say 220 for the 11s.
lol you need a lot more than 20 buy ins for turbos dude, I dont care what level.

I don't think $150 for a 4 hour lesson is a lot. I don't think it could hurt to try. Is her 2008 really fully booked? If so, congrats to her!!!!
