Hi P5ers,

First post although I have had the pleasure of reading P5s for over a year now…I just wanted to take a moment and pass on some compliments about Jennifear’s sng lessons…I contacted her after reading all the great feedback on her low limit sng public lesson as I felt that my sng game needed some tuning…in particular, I was struggling in turbos which I am relatively new at…

I booked a four-hour session (and also got a free hour the day before as I happened to be on messenger- thanks Jen!)…I have long played a tag style in sngs and have been relatively successful at it, but I was simply not active enough in turbos to do well…I was far too often short stacked at the 100-200+ level on Party and knew that I needed to make adjustments…topics that I wanted to cover were appropriate turbo hand values, proper bubble aggression, equity decisions and table reads…

Over the four hour session we managed to cover pretty much all of that plus some other topics…in short, my turbo sng game has dramatically improved and while my present stats over the 50+ sngs since then are far too high to be realistic, I am very confident that my chances of long term success have drastically improved…

So whether you are new to the game and need to plug holes, or are more experienced and need to add new dimensions to your sng game, I highly recommend booking time with Jennifear… just keep playing on Stars please J.

Sincerely,

pokernut

It was extremely reasonable...$10 an hour and $30 for four hours...great value...you can visit her webpage and see available tutoring times here:

Thanks for the kind words pokernut! you made a great student, and I am glad to see that you have already covered the cost of the lesson and then some :)

The demand has been hot, and repeat lesson requests are the norm, so if you are interested, and I am not quick to respond to a PM or e-mail, it's basically because I'm overwhelmed.  I promise I will get to you and give you the attention you deserve.

I specialize in teaching the lowest limit ($5-20) SNGs, where there are some strategy adjustments necessary to acheive maximum value.

I do love Pokerstars, and although my play there has been limited, I will continue to play there and on Full Tilt.  If anyone wants to rail, feel free to look me up, I go by "PunkinBear".  I may be on a bit less, as teaching is taking up a good portion of my time.

I have known Jennifear for over a year. She is a great player. We have battled many times. She is very good at understanding the thought process of other players and acting accordingly. If you are serious about becoming a better player, this is  a good investment. Your time and money will be well spent.

I can only agree with everything that pokernut has said.Had a lesson a couple of nights ago, and have to say that it would beworth every penny of anybody's money. You name it - she coversit,  fom basics to more advanced topics, and she makes sure youhave grasped each one before moving on to the next.

I won the turbo she ghosted me in - and won a couple of key hands insituations which I would totally have overlooked previously.

One last thing - the lessons are also a whole lot of fun!!.  Enjoy :)

Ditto, what everyone else has said.  Had my first session last night and more than covered the cost of the lesson with the first SNG.  Jen is an excellent teacher.  The four hours seemed like 15 minutes.  Thanks, Jen.
