Short story:

PokerStars has banned me for 3 months; my ban will be lifted on August 6th. Furthermore, my girlfriend can no longer play the same MTT's as me, or sngs, cash games, etc. They've banned our accounts for the same amount of time and put a flag on both accounts.
Full Tilt has banned my account for 30 days. They have given a warning to my girlfriend and she has not received any punishment regarding the matter.

Both sites concluded this: That I played under WhatsLogic for an ample time period (6-9 months) but that I did not ever play both accounts that were in a tournament. The hand histories proved this because the style of play was completely different.

They also concluded that I used WhatsLogic for cash games, but I do not know a pro that’s backed that doesn't have a separate name for cash games, but it's still against the TOS.

I will not be adding any emails to this, there was a lot of chatter back and forth between myself and stars, included were emails, phone calls, and faxes. There is also a lot of my personal information in there that I do not feel the need to share.

As far as my apology goes, I feel that the community does not need one from me. It's clear that I didn't JJ myself into tournaments. The final figure was 45 tournaments played together, and 9 from the same IP address. This is over an 18 month period. I never had two IP address or a wireless card until recently (Bellagio, and a few people can attest to this). However, I do feel that I've learned a lot about myself and other people because of this issue. To those of you that turned your back to me, stay turned away. To those that supported me, Thank You. I'm glad this shows that I didn't do the things that were accused of me.

I look forward to crushing again shortly online. Gl at the tables.

I'm still a bit confused.

I thought it was established that Whatslogic played in tournies where wretchy admitted it was him playing there.  i.e. through posting his hand histories etc...

I also was made to believe that Wretchy was in the same tournaments.

Is the story that his girlfriend played under Wretchy while he was Whatslogic or am I misunderstanding that other massive thread?

I agree that the punishment probably fits the crime. As far as Wretchy goes, I dont really understand why you cant swallow some pride and just apologize intead of pointing fingers and trying to justify it.

"but I do not know a pro that’s backed that doesn't have a separate name for cash games, but it's still against the TOS."

....this comment shows a lot about your character.

I don't understand what I need to apologize for. I feel that having a cash game account is sorta the same thing as smoking weed. Everyone knows that it's illegal and yet its a common thing.

I admit that I was wrong and shouldn't have played under the account, that's about as much as you'll get from me as far as an apology. I'm dealing with the punishment and that's all that's going to happen.

My point is this, the people are looking for an apology and thats it really. Not a post that was delivered in this matter. I can careless either way fwiw, im just saying to swallow pride and apologize and give people what they want, and than everyone wont be on your back (unless you like drama and conflict). Its sorta like women...you got to just tell them what they want to hear sometimes to make your life easier. Ya heard.

there's a reason why people are trying to legalize marijuana..."victimless" crime.  there's a victime when stealing equity in a cash game by violating TOS.  i don't understand what's so hard to understand.

i think anyone in your spot might've made the same mistake, considering all backed pros have a separate name for cash games (according to wretchy and jtj)...but a mistake is a mistake and an apology should be standard.  also like someone else mentioned, pretty tough to believe it was a gf that played $100+ mtts, but not impossible.

either way glgl with the couple months and in the wsop

oh and fwiw i dont play cash other than donate in some plo so i don't need an apology...just saying

Nope you weren't mistaken, this is what the other thread was about.

Yep because his user name changes the fact that wretchy comes off as an arrogant fuck who has no remorse for abusing what he has. He has no regard for what he is doing and obviously doesn't care. He won't even admit he did anything wrong. It's not that hard to keep track of how much money goes to backers and how much money you have in your online account that is YOURS. Owell. Online poker is a dirty game. It'll never end.

Smoking weed doesn't give you an unfair edge over the other players though.

burn the witch thread. idc really having never been in a tourny with you or your GF tht would of given you an unfair advantage against me, but I think an apology should be a serious consideration because you knowingly broke the rules and have been a pretty significant character in the p5's community. Why ruin your reputation and all your great legitimate wins for something as dumb as this?

I don't know Wretchy personally, so I will withhold any comments about character, morals, etc...

As for the apology, it wouldn't have mattered if he made one or not as it was pretty obv thru the previous posts that he wasn't sorry about anything...so him apologizing is like someone telling a girl that they love her just to get her into bed... its super shady, doesn't mean anything and it would just end up upsetting people.

As for multiple accounts, people sharing hole cards and soliciting advice during games, cheating, and all that other shit, i really wish that these sites would burn everyone to the stake.  Take all your money, ban your accounts, and send warning emails to anyone ever associated with them to not help them get back on those sites or they will be suspended too.

I am so tired of grinding away every phukin day playing on the same account I created on day 1 before i knew you were supposed to chose a cool clever sn trying to chase the dream only to read every week about guys who have stolen equity or broke terms of service be allowed to continue to prosper.

I wish the sites would take such a hard stance against players including tying them up in expensive litigation even if they had no chance at winning, just so the opponent would have to spend some of his winnings trying to defend himself.  I wish they would create a website that listed all cheaters, what they did, under what screennames, any current / open investigatoins and the results, and make the whole process open and transparent instead of it being behind closed doors like it is today.

shyt...hypothetically speaking, fulltilt and stars could have said to wretchy "look..we know you phuking cheated your azz off, but we are just short of the evidence necessary to burn your azz"..meanwhile wretchy can come on here and post his version, and there is no way to fact check it.

I have busted my azz trying to be one of the top mtt players, yet week in and week out, it seems the real ticket to success is not to put in hours of studying, playing, and dedication....rather its walking a bunch of fine lines and grey areas, and sometimes just biatch smacking the fine line in her face to get ahead.  Then, trying to justify it cuz a bunch of other shady characters also do it....

Girlfriends, Grandma's, and shared houses full of 5-6 people in the same tournament who swear up and down that they don't soft play or chip dump or share hole cards...when will this shyt end???

At least i know when i bust thru, no one can take my money or my respect away from me...i hope that continues to be enough for me as more and more people get exposed for taking additional advantages in the game not granted them because they obv don't feel their edge in the game itself is great enough.  all this shyt really just ends up hurting the community as a whole in our pursuit to have the online game regulated and legalized, so they we can respectfully call this a profession.  I'm just so tired of this shyt...doesn't anyone outplay their opponent anymore? enuff said.

online pros are even more arrogant than baseball players when it comes to blatently doing things that are against the rules.  not only did wretchy go against the tos, by using a 2nd account, he's unremorseful about it and thinks its ok because other backed cash game players do it.  wow. just wow
