I don't think villain is great, but I've seen his name around before. He called my 4b preflop very quickly. The 3 bettor is an unknown/rando and insta folded.

Flop check seems standard, as played what's your plan here for turn/river?

Dr Drewlius:

The more I look at the HH, the sicker I get. Although I still can't believe in checking this flop as played. I just think it's really bad to check flop, then call the turn. But let's get real here, if you are checking behind on the flop with AA in this spot, you are assuming he has 99 or QQ, period; thus, I see no reason in continuing in the hand, even if it's a complete blank. It shouldn't even be a borderline call on the turn. I mean you basically turned the check into a bluff catcher since you did continue with the hand, and I think that's just bad. How can we ever not get it in on the flop, if our line is going to be to call down anyways?

Your analysis started out bad and only got worse. At any rate this has basically been beaten to death and im over it. Drewlius read the thread if you want to learn more.

God wtf is wrong with the people on this forum.

Please gfy buddy. When you post a HH on this forum, you know very well that you are opening yourself up to criticism, take it as constructive, or don't take it at all, that is your choice. What you shouldn't do is get bent out of shape and try and /thread it just because it became a large one and I added my thoughts at page 121928. Furthermore, if you do indeed decide to take a shot at my post, don't ask "what's wrong with people" when I take a shot of my own.

You gave me criticism. That's fine. I then told you that your analysis started out wrong and got worse (which you are, im not going to argue more though) and said to read the thread if you wanted to see why as it has been explained thoroughly. You then proceeded to quote me, while bolding out my thoughts on your analysis, only to then make fun of my post flop play. You gave criticism, I gave some back, you decided to "make fun of me." Well good one, you got me.

Now, to say this in the least egotistical/arrogant while still being short and sweet: I have played way more fucking tournaments and hands of poker than you. I have studied this game way harder, and am far more knowledgeable. I could have just let your post sit there and not comment at all. But you wouldn't get better and I actually wanted to help you. But nope rather than try and explain why you're right and I'm wrong (like I have already done earlier in this thread) you instead make a dbag comment about my postflop play and then say gfy. So please stfu and kindly gtfo because it's people like you who make a lot of the smart players here not want to help anymore. Thanks. (ya still makes me sound like a dbag but w/e its 4:50 AM and I have the flu).

Oh alright, my bad bro, I missed the nurturing teacher-esque tone of your post.

Just wondering, if you were in the villains spot here and you did actually have qq, with all the preflop action, whats the most profitable way to play it? You'd be putting frank1the1tank on ak at worst yeah?

Villain is nearly always going to have PP given the pre-flop action. If you bet the flop and get called or check-raised, then there is a good chance you're beat. If you check and let him bet the turn then you're just calling a bet that you should have initially made and are none the wiser, and will be put to an even tougher decision when the inevitable big river bet comes along. If you're trying to represent AK, then you're story is not very consistent if you call a turn bet. As played you will lose a lot of big pots playing this way, for a small tradeoff of an extra turn bet when you're hand is best.

Flatting the 3bet the first time around is a big mistake IMO.  I'd seriously rather 4bet and turn my cards over than flat the 3bet.

Just flat the 3 bet with your image. Pretty much everyone I know would snap fold KK to your 4 bet. You are WAYYYY too nitty to get any action vs almost anyone here...
