I have really been considering depositing some on ub lately, thanks to posts here(wisocmurray comes to mind) about the tourney schedule, for a mid to low stakes guy like me.  I have downloaded and the tourney schedule does look good, not nearly as many people to weed thru as stars, and some good guarantees in there.  But then i see stuff like this and it seems they havent gotten the glitches worked out yet from the switch to cereus.  Are people still having issues with rebuys, and registering for tourneys and not getting seated?  just wondering, and lol in advance at the flamers for me even discussing the possiblilty of depositing on UB

99 is helmuths favourite hand? I think its a horrible hand and i've probably lost more big pots with it than any other hand. You get 4 bet with it and then just don't know what to do haha. Still, if you can win pots with the worst hand i suppose it doesn't really matter.
 If this stuff is true and it gets media attention, does this mean helmuth would end up being banned from the casinos and big televised tourneys?

#1 I dont believe this, but I won't even argue that.

#2.  Do you think if Hellmuth was cheating that he would make it this obvious when there were probably 500000000000 observers.

#3 If this really did happen, it probably was a glitch which is still absolutely awful.

#4  If he was cheating, he  would likely be able to see whole cards, so your telling me he called this because he knew he was gonna rake the pot?  Get real

#5 How nieve are the majority of you fucking idiots?

#6  Holy shit im getting dumber even typing this, and I 100% will not believe this until someone can prove it is legit.

Mr. Leggett,

So - this is the first time this has ever happened, and it just happened to involve the face of your company, Phil Hellmuth.

Do not insult our intelligence by insinuating that either this is first time it has ever happened, or that the first time it ever happened it miraculously involved Phil Hellmuth.

I can only assume that there continues to be holes in your software, especially when it is related to key accounts.  For this reason - I will be closing my UB/Cereus accounts immediately.  I may reopen at some point - but I have the feeling that you will be out of business before there is adequate resolution.

EDIT - I sent e-mails to both UB and AP asking them to close my accounts, and I have removed them from my profile.  I know this doesn't matter to anyone - but it matters to me.

It really chaps my ass when I can only see like 1/3rd of my cards. Why can't they just show me the whole cards? lkdsajfaiofweja;foiaf;

Relentless -  If you want to talk about stats, grow some balls and post your screen names in your profile.  Until then, STFU and GTFO.

I won a ME seat in late 2006 on UB and played regularly there.  My first MTT win was there (75 player $30 OH/L).  But I found that the interface and tourney selections were far superior on Stars and FTP, so I really didn't play there that much any more.

I probably could have closed my account down a year ago for as little as I played there.  But I hoped that they would fix things.  They didn't - and this was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Obviously that something like this could happen is absolutely amazing, and that it would involve Phil Hellmuth boggles the mind.  But what is even more unbelievable is that almost all of you think that it is some conspiracy involving Cereus and Phil Hellmuth.  Why in the world would they even think about cheating, and even if they did, how could any of you think they would just ship themselves pots????  Sooooo.....let me get this straight.....the pocket 5's community thinks that Paul Leggett and Phil Hellmuth sat down and had a discussion and it went something like this.  Paul: Hey Phil, now that we have launched Cereus and are trying to clear up our name and reestablish ourselves as one of the top internet poker sites in the world, I have a great idea!  Phil:  Whats that Paul?  Paul:  Lets cheat some more.  Phil:  How do you propose we do that.  Paul:  I was thinking the best way to do it would be to have the face of our company, you, play in some cash games and when you lose a big pot, we will just ship the pot to you.  Phil:  Wow Paul, thats a great idea! No one could possibly notice and it will be a great way to make some extra cash!
