unexploitable shoving ranges
By HugoBrasky on 07-24-2008 8:27 PM

Anyone know where I can find a chart that has unexploitable shoving/reshoving ranges? I got to thinking about this after I read the post made about DJK's QTs shove 25bbs deep in the 1k. I did a google search for "unexploitable shoving ranges" but all I could find were forum posts with unexploitable appearing in them.

You have the formula from the other post and also alot of information.  Read through it and do your own calculations.

Nothing is unexploitable.. If it was everyone would be doing it.

Incorrect. I have an unexploitable strategy in tic-tac-toe.

when he shoved 20bbs with Q10, all he's saying is, that in a heads up pot, Q10 is way ahead of 2 random cards, and that shoving that amount will take the pot down enough pre flop, and suckout just enough post flop, that its a profitable shove.  still doesnt make it less dumb.

Why is it dumb if he profits more than 2 BBs every time he does it? Maybe its not optimal but what do you really expect the optimal line to yield on average?

I guess I should explain this a little more, I know there is a chart that exists that shows hands and what amount of effective stacks you can unexploitabley shove BvB. If I'm not mistaken it was done by David Skalnsky and someone else. Also fyi I don't plan on making the unexploitable shove every chance I get when I play because obv. it's not optimal. After reading the article it just reminded me of hearing about this chart and was kind of curious to look at it.
