$1 rebuys turbo $5k gtd on UB----1400 entrants , I'm 14th out of 35 left right now with 17 BBs...I look down at 66 in ep and see Jen's push-fold chart and it says 44+ is a shove so I shove and someone wakes up with AA...Is this standard or should I think about raise-folding/open-folding in this spot?

Snap shove. Just unlucky to run into aces.

It's a tough spot in the 1R, but it's a clear shove.  Good push.

Surely now you feel okay about the shove?
I think the lady is right too FWIW.
If I thought she was wrong, I wouldn't say so !

Yes I do feel great about it! I was thinking at first making it 50k and then maybe folding to shove..but that would be chip spew...and I had the 2nd highest chips at the table and wanted to apply pressure so folding wasn't in my forte...more because of the stack sizes rather than position...

Thank you folks!

nevz I was sitting at your table when this hand occured. If I'm in your spot I'm shoving all day long. It was unfortunate that you ran into someone with Aces. You were playing very well too. By the way I ended up winning this last night.
