WCOOP Main Event Investigation Conclusion

The investigation into the WCOOP Main Event has now been concluded.

We have determined, based on the totality of evidence, that the tournament winner “TheV0id” was in breach of the PokerStars Terms of Service.

In the interests of Game Integrity, “TheV0id” has been disqualified from first place.

All other WCOOP Main Event prizewinners in addition to the player who originally bubbled in 415th place will therefore advance one place in the prize pool. The necessary financial adjustments to reflect the revised tournament places will be made within the next 24 hours.

Please note that we are unable to release further details of this investigation, for reasons of confidentiality and privacy.

I don't know how much info. this community has shared about this topic and if this is a repost then I apologise in advance . I have been reading some more very disturbing stories about multi-accounting taking place during the WCOOP main event . Obviously we all know / have heard recent mass stories of scandal upon scandal regarding people playing multiple accounts but this one is fairly monumental in my opinion and unfortunately is very damaging for online poker.
In a thread on thehendonmob.com page it is implied that the WINNER of the WCOOP main event was actually a well known British proffessional : Mark Teltscher and that he had actually won the event on an account that had never played a pokerstars tournament before .... one that was registered under his sisters name --- sigh .
Furthermore the rumour is that the account Mark is generally known to play on Pokerstars was eliminated early in the event and that in fact , he had FIVE accounts running in this event . This amoungst claims that Vannesa Rousso whilst seated at the same table as her partner Chad Brown was involved in possible " chip dumping " and "soft playing " along with other claims that Josh Arieh had also set up multiple accounts on stars and was infact accidently exposed by Daniel Negranu during the official event commentary all seems to add more fuel to an already well ablaze fire .
Such cases are surely very damaging for our beloved game especially in such a high profile event and regarding so called proffessionals.

I will try to paste the link here for anyone interested .

Um that's pretty big, but kudos on PStars security for doing their due dilligence and coming to the appropriate conclusion.

i think i would kill myself right now, i mean yes he cheated, yes he was wrong, yes he sould have been disqualified but all that being said he still had to play somewhat well to win, he wasnt accused of seeing hole cards so I would just be so sick inside
