Good luck to all the P5ers playing Day1a. Who else is playing their first ever Main Event today? Im pretty psyched / excited / good luck me sleeping right now. I also just created a twitter account (foutight) to keep P5ers, friends and family up-to-date tomorrow. I never really thought this day would come. So sick.

Another Sick Cooler
A player on the button opened the pot with a raise to 900, and Troy Gibson made the call from the big blind. The flop rolled out and Gibson checked. His opponent made a continuation bet of 1,100 and he called.
The turn card was the to pair the board. Gibson checked again, this time calling a bet of 1,200. The river card came the , and it didn't really look like an exciting card, but it sure brought the action. Gibson checked again, and this time his opponent made a real bet, flicking out 6,000 chips. Gibson paused for a moment before moving all in with the covering stack. The other player instantly called, turning over for the top full house. But it was no good. Gibson tabled for the stone-cold four-of-a-kind kings.
The table all stood from their chairs, some with their hands over their mouths and faces, and some passing along the story to adjacent tables. Brad Garrett was clutching his chest. "My heart was beating," he said, "and I wasn't even in the hand!"

I was at the 2nd feature table all day. Had Sammy Farha on my right and Greg Mueller and Mendieta directly to my left. Had a high of 45k but ended with like 25k. Kinda bricked everything for my last 3 hours of play and 3 bet bluffed a guy on an A56 board bvb, and he like snap 4 bet shoved so I had to fold...sigh. Our table was sick though, constant limping. Like even at the ante level we were seeing flops 5-6 handed on a regular basis. Farha would open limp all the time and it encouraged everyone else to start limping. Mendieta was absolutely raping though and ended with like 85k. He coolered Mueller pretty bad with a 66655 fullhouse beating Mueller's 55599 and then took off from there.

30,950 chips going into Day2, was up to 55K at one point then got a few bluffs picked off and missed most flops... oh well. Going into day2 and pretty psyched about it. My table was really tough, and there was tons of 3betting and 4betting, with only 2 soft spots all day (1 lady actress and 1 old man who openly said it was his first tourney, but he was just a super-rock).
