I know several people who classify  playing poker online in the same category as video poker machines... some people are inheritantly retarded and or ignorant

i would think those guys at case western would know that 1k hands is meaningless.  i mean you have to be pretty smart to get in. 

Unfortunately Not everybody knows Doyle brunson, or that the top players win consistently, fortunately, they are doing studies to show there is skill in poker. But why wouldnt they do like lilholdem954 vs a random fool, in like 1.5k tournaments? Anyways, you'd be surprised how many people think poker is a game against the "dealer". And you'd be surprised how many people think, if you Gamble, no matter what form or game you are inevitably going broke.

i agree with your last 2 statements,,, not saying that the rest i dont,,, but u have a point on the last 2 statements..

i always argue with people that arent gamblers/poker players that blackjack and poker is not the same, then i have to explain how in poker you play against humans and not the casino (house) and that the house on gets a small rake on the pots (cash games) and so on,, ya know

Wow, news to me, care to expand on this statement to enlighten the ignorant???????

Really, it is a skill game over long period of time.
