By HToothrot on 05-13-2008 7:45 PM

15 left, average 70k. I've been fairly inactive until the last round - and have raised 2 out of the last 4 hands.........

Is check ok? Didn't want to lead and fold to an all in... or is that pants? I'm really rusty at MTTs and was never good in the first place! :-)

After i've checked and they have pushed - my first instinct was this is an easy call at this stage, with chip positions and it being a draw heavy board but any advice would be most appreciated! Thanks in advance.

leading out 7000 to 12000 would be good here.  Check isn't horrible, if your intention is to call or raise a smaller sized bet.

As played I don't think there is any way you can call here.

I agree with the larger PFR. Probably about 10k. Before any action there is 6k in the pot. Raising to 6500 PF only gives good odds for someone to try to get a look at the flop with marginal cards, with position to boot.

Given a larger PFR here, and still get the caller, I would fire out a bet about 2/3 pot. The larger bet/call should help to define his range a little better. If he has a large pair, he's likely to steal PF and try to get it in.

As it is, hands like JT, AJ, etc. have a decent shot to get a piece of the flop or bluff you off a hand should you check the flop.
