I guess I just want to know how I can play this hand and maximise profit and still be able to throw it away.  Any thoughts on what I should of done on each street will be helpful.  Sorry for the Strange Hand History, I don't know how to do it any other way from BODOG.

i would say raise pre.  then post flop if your heads up at that point lead out and see what happens if you get called i would then check/call hoping for the board to pair on the turn and river depending on if your getting priced in.  After the preflop raise if there was more than 1 other person in the pot i would check/call hoping to make full house or check/fold if the betting got heavy.  the way the hand played out though i would check the flop, check the turn and fold the river....

ya bodog HH sucks. you seem to be on the button here? well i'd say it might be a good idea to raise your aces preflop. you are in position and in control of potsize and action, and you cant win many big pots without raising. although a raise seems always scream "i have aces!" it is not as bad in position because all the callers are certainly behind pre and it is never a bad idea to get as much money in as you can being a favorit. on the flop though you have to play carefully, keeping it small as long as you are drawing to a better hand. bad thing with your hand is the aces do not combine with the sixes besides the flushdraw, so you have to hit the flop against multiple callers which you slightly did. only hand you have to fear is a flush now (but that's very likely in a limped pot), against that you are in bad shape with only 5 outs for a redraw left so far. as played it seems to be a bad idea to bet that flop, any hand that calls has you beaten and you rarely can steal a pot with a single flopbet in a limped omahapot. with a raise pre and one or two callers you might get away with it, but without a single spade in your hand it might be better to give it up right there. to sum it up: only invest money when you are certain that you are ahead (or on a big draw) and bet in order to feed or win the pot, just do not donate money when you are drawing very slim. imho.

One can only wonder what would have happened had you bet the pot pf.  You not only have aces, you have another pair and one ace is suited.  I can definitely understand not raising with naked aces, too many people overvalue them, but that's not the case here.  Of course, if you get called, you have to play that flop very carefully.

Thanks guys... So It looks like I def need  to be raising this hand PRE here.  I guess I just have been getting into trouble alot here by OVER VALUEINg ACES Pre flop so even when I was suited and in position I get a littel tenative to raise with them.  This is an OBV LEAK I need to get over. LOL  Well thanks a lot for the advice...

The other guy turned out to have a flush right? That's why you need to pot pre. Then you push out hands like 2s3s. If only 1 villain left to see the flop I would put in a halfpot bet and see what happens. If he comes over the top he probably has a flush and you need to decide whether the odds are good to see the board pair and hit your boat. Usually it won't so proceed with care.

1. I'd def be raising pre here if in position, OOP limp is fine

2. you have 2 sets on that flop, so likelyhood of filling up is obv slim, therefore I'd prolly try to buy it on the flop by potting. Small flushes are less likely to call a bet on the flop than on the turn b/c they know that it could get expensive if they hafta call 3 bets. Also, its not too dangerous to try to buy on the flop b/c the pot is small.  Few hands can call you, and any that do have you drawing pretty thin.

3.  If there are any eurodonks at your table, ignore #2. they will call you down all the way, for their whole stack, with a 6 high flush

worst you can do in poker is to play to save your balls instead of your money, there is definitely no shame in giving up a hand you most likely cant win any more. c/f is fine.
IMHO.
