Kind of early in a MTT satellite my stack in the upper 35% (~2.6k), blinds 25-50. Almost everybody has limped to me, in middle position. I hold pocket 9's. I just call. Player (no info) to the immediate right of the button raises ~360. Folded to me. Given just what I've given, do I call, fold, or shove?

Call and see a flop. Too risky to reraise here, and you are getting an ok price to set mine, plus if the flop comes with 3 unders or like J or Q high you may be able to continue.

You found out what happens if you don't raise when you have a PP. Shoving is donkish as if he has anything decent your dead, calling isn't the best play in the world because stats say at least one over will come and then he has control of the pot as the aggressor. I'd just fold throw something and try and play better

I agree, you have to see the flop, so call. Not sure if you're getting the right price to set mine, but you may very well have the best hand right now.

So you say raise/fold w 99? Or raise/call then check/fold the flop when you miss your set? Or raise/shove pre-flop?
