Texas Holdem is a funny game, because a mistake on one street can lead to tough decisions/mistakes on future streets.
Your mistake was preflop. A10 is a very tough had to play in a $4 game, since if he has Ax, and the Ace hits, he's getting all his money in (many times), so you have to either fold the best, or call down and see if he has A6 or AQ. Your reraise was weak here. You either fold this preflop, flat call and try to keep it small, or raise 3x or more. Your weak raise gives you know information (unless they reraise you), since anything can call here, and a monster can call and let you hang yourself.
It's a low flop, so he can call here with anything. I see decent aces calling this flop. Once the over hits, you are pushing, and only getting called if your beat, and if you are, your likely crushed. At the same time, no hand that you are beating is calling you (except a badly played 10, and even most of them will assume you have a Queen here and fold). All Queens will hang around.
So, you really overplayed your A10 here, and you see the issue with it. People say A10 isn't that great a hand specifically because they want to avoid situations like this. They are very hard to play, and unless you are in push/shove mode, you can usually wait for a spot where you are in more control than this.
