Correct plays here? Standard hand / many different ideas

 This is a friends hand on a $10 buy-in tourny on pokerstars the other day that I said I would post for him.  He usually does really well mainly in SNG's but has had some light MTT success.

Blinds at $175 - $350 no ante paying top 350 or so and about 800 left

Hero = about $13,000

Villan = about $15,000

     Villan raises 3x bb from hijack positon Hero calls from the button with KTs spades, SB/BB both fold.  Flop comes 3s 7s Qh, villan leads out with a bet of $2000 into a pot of $2725, Hero calls.  Turn brings the Jc, Villan checks and Hero leads out for $3500 into a pot of $6725, Villan raises All-In and Hero snap calls for his last $6500 or so into a pot of roughly $16,500.  Villan shows QJ off and the river blanks off missing both open-ender and flush draws knocking out the Hero.

Any advice on post flop play knowing that Hero is gonna call preflop %80 of the time he says.  Any and all advice would be appreciated.  Was the snap call all-in correct? Should he have raised on the flop? checked turn? Lead out for a bigger bet?..........

Take the free one off on the turn. Sure a bet will take him off AK or other A high hands (maybe - if he isn't A-flushing) but it also comits you to the pot in the face of a push. ATM you only have K-high and with 6700 in & 9K back getting in on the river if you hit should be doable. You would much rather see the str8 than the flush come.

The real problem here is you may be looking for 6 outs if the villian has AsXs & he's auto pushing any bet on the turn then - a bluff (simi) but you can't even beat that :)

Bottom line is there are enough chips in now that a push from either player is close to pot. That is a reasonable bet so you don't need to build any more to make getting in when you hit possible - take the free one off on the turn.

my 2 cents

If you're gonna play these hands, play them cheap. As saukendar (another excellent post I must add) suggested, take a free one on the turn and be done if you don't make your hand.

In general, be careful to get all in on draws unless you have a solid read you're up against a very weak hand (middle/low pair or something).

If only I would stick to my own advice...

Horrible call pre,why call when your missing 1 out of 3 flops and folding to CB anyway.If you are going to play this hand then play for real and re-pop to 3,500 pre,at least if he re-ships then you know that you were dominated.As played then you have to shove that flop %100 of the time.
