After you’ve been active for a few hands in a row, sometimes you’ll get raised on the flop where it feels like they are raising for information, looking to see if you are full of it with a standard continuation bet. But if you have a legitimate, but vulnerable hand, sometimes it can put you in a tricky spot.
How would you play the following SNG hand?
2 hand previous, I had JJ and played a QQx paired board where I knew the guy didn’t have the Q and made it look like I had the Q (they had AA – oops). The next hand I raised with TT, bet the flop and ended up showing down the best hand. Then, I get TT again. Dirkdigler was a semi-active player and had been involved in a few pots. This was early, so I didn’t have many betting patterns picked up yet.

I personally thought when he said "all in" he proably had overcards and really didn't want me to stay in the pot. But I've also seen guys do this when they have a monster. I felt it was too early to get involved in a marginal situation, but I see a lot of guys call this flop bet and then see what happens on the turn. The size of the bet certainly made it look like he wanted the call, so I felt folding was the best play.
Thoughts?

No reraise preflop he probably had kq or some face cards. You may of had the best hand and with a marginal raise like that a re raise probably would of taken down the pot. But early in the sit and go it not a bad idea to avoid confruntations especially if you are unsure where you stand

Fold, he could be making a play but it's not worth it to find out. I'm not a big fan of the raise to 75, I'd either limp or raise to 90. Also, there's no need to bet the pot on the flop, 2/3-3/4 of the pot will give you the same information but will save you chips if get played back at.

The problem with the small raise preflop is the blinds play along and
you have a tough decision on the flop, as happened here. The good part
about that raise, though, is that there is almost no way, IMO, that he
is putting you on an overpair. It's possible he has a set or a very
ugly 2 pair but more than likely he just hit a piece of the flop and
has a pair and thinks he can push your probable overcards out (or he
has nuthin at all). Too weak to fold here I think. I'd at least call
but probably reraise and see what happens. I don't put a whole lot of
credence in his comments as it's just too easy to overthink what they
mean.

This hand smells.
I agree, your opening Raise was a little small.
If ole dirk has JJ-AA, I just don't see him Calling Preflop - he'd Re-raise. If he's got anything less, he might Call, but who cares unless it's 8's. I doubt he plays 44 or 33 at all here.
Anything else, he's just Drawing.
You've only got 980 left. You've got an overpair. There is no Flush Draw.
He really, REALLY wants to snap you off. Even if he isn't successful he still has over 900 left. He could still suckout, but as of now, he doesn't have you. This is all about establishing who the real table captain is.
If it were me, I'd Push.

This is very dependent on the player you're up against . Sometimes you have to fold here and other times you have to re-raise . There is no one answer .

Agreed. If Villain was Joex, and the stacks were closer to even, I'd Fold.
If Hero hadn't been looking like a thief the last couple of hands, and dirk was the opponent, I'd also Fold.
I just see this particular hand, in the context of the whole situation, as a pure dominance play by dirk here.

We can assume 2 different things on this hand, dirk is a good player, or he is a bad player. He check-raised on the flop, but it was a check-min raise (raised 220 from a 200 chip bet).
If he is a good player:
1) He has a pretty good lock on the hand, top set or a pair of face cards. This is not even that likely since he would probably just cold call the bet since there aren't really any obvious draws out there. But some good players will make plays that look weak to build the pot and outsmart the opponent.
If he is a bad player:
1) He has a straight draw, O.E. or gutshot, and thinks a min-raise will drive you out (in his mind he already has the straight)
2) He has A-8, K-8 and thinks it is unstoppable
3) He has garbage and his "All-In" line was to make you think you were going to have to commit the rest of your chips if you wanted to continue this hand. If he really had a good enough hand to go all-in with, he would have raised more than the minimum. He is obviously trying to save chips if his little mind game doesn't work out.
I would definately push here. He plays it like he caught top pair or complete garbage, both of which you beat. Even if he has 2 pair you still have lots of outs to counterfeit him since you have an overpair.
