Note that for the FPP Tournaments, players can participate in tournaments at their level as well as all tournaments for lower levels.

DETAILED REVIEW OF BENEFITS
The PokerStars VIP Club is the show-stopper of all VIP programs, allowing players to exchange Frequent Player Points (FPPs) for a wide variety of VIP Store items, major live and online poker tournaments, cash bonuses and much, much more.
VIP Player Points (VPPs) are considered as "base points" for this system. All bonuses, VIP levels and other benefits are calculated using VPPs while FPPs are used to purchase VIP Store items and enter FPP tournaments.
How to earn points:
In 2010, PokerStars has increased the rates at which players earn points,
and added separate accumulation for European customers. Players receive 5.5 VPPs for every $1 (or 8
VPPs for every €1) in tournament fees contributed. Cash
game VPPs have been simplified, with accumulation still broken down by table
size (and not by actual # of players sitting in each hand):
- At a 7-seat or more table, 6 VPPs per $1 (or 8.5 VPPs per €1)
rake is awarded, and divided amongst the players
- At a 6-seat or fewer table, 5.5 VPPs per $1 (or 8 VPPs per €1)
rake is awarded

TIER-BY-TIER BREAKDOWN
BronzeStar
You achieve BronzeStar status by playing in any real-money game on
PokerStars. As a BronzeStar VIP member, you will be entitled to the
following benefits:
- access to BronzeStar VIP Store items using your Frequent Player Points (FPPs)
- Daily BronzeStar FPP Tournaments with $1,000 (twice daily - 20 FPP entry) and
$500 (thrice daily - 10 FPP entry) total prize pools
