good point, i haven't seen him dipping multiple times in a day. he works at a small IT company, and he says he usually takes a dip after lunch. the other times that will be the toughest on him are while golfing (nice spring weather just around the corner), playing poker (about once a week), and while studying/reading (once a week). as i mentioned earlier, he takes adderol just about daily and the two almost go hand in hand for him, like oreos and milk. also i just found out he's capping the bet at $2k, because anything over that and he wouldn't be able to afford losing. he's also trying to ...

so a good friend of mine, 26 years old, has been dipping on and off occasionally since highschool. however, over the last year it's been multiple times a week and lately just about every day. obviously by this point he's pretty sure he's addicted, especially because he gets intense cravings for it whenever he's on adderol. he's asked me to make a bet with him that he can't go an entire year w/o dipping. he's up for any amount, and wants to get this signed and in writing on sunday, march 16th. it'd solely be based on the honor system since i can't monitor him at all times. and yes, i can take ...

hah i saw this band play at a small dallas club in like 2002 to about 50 people. at the time they were called Moss Eisley, and i just knew it was only a matter of time that they'd be huge. about a year later they opened for Coldplay in Madison Square Garden. still not my particular taste, but i gotta respect their talent.

very few movies are in the same league as Office Space. that said, i do think it's one of the best satire movies i've ever seen and a comical look at where America is headed... popularity of nascar, paris hilton, ultimate fighting, etc...

hope someone can help
probably a few months ago someone on here posted a youtube link to a comedian from california that would pencil animations that looked like they were drawn on glass. i want to say the comedian's name was Lester but i'm not positive on that. i remember some of the etchings were about "i'm not going to think about her" (about an ex-gf), sitting positions while riding on a bus, and insecurities while dancing in public. i've searched youtube and google and can't find any results. i believe the guy also scored a deal with comedy central but no luck finding any info on that either. anyone have any ...

old sckool too, lurking in the shadows. once i hit 69 posts i was pretty content. then this almost made me feel like i was being called out. extra irony, i even talked to devin at the wsop last year. he just had his first double up and was walking around nervously because he told me his intention was to play tight. of course his 65 off had just cracked AA.

i found it sorta odd that when i walked inside a room full off 2000 players, w/o even really looking i found phil ivey. day 2, 1600 people i instantly find phil ivey. led me to think what it was about him that just stood out from everyone else, and i figured it must just be the constant look of intensity and concentration he gives off. i want to see a maid for tv match: tiger woods vs. phil ivey in a heads up staring contest. wagers who would crack first'

i was walking back from the rio poker room to my hotel room when i saw quite a few cheers on a craps table. steve dannemon was on the roll of his life, so i couldn't pass up the opportunity to play craps with last year's runner up. he seriously didn't crap out for probably 30 minutes. made everyone at the table rich. when anyone asked him about his poker tourney, his focused response was "I'M IN THE CRAPS GAME!"

thanks for your thoughts ari. in retrospect i don't regret my call at all. just wanted to know if i did what most would do. i was actually keeping my eye on you in this tourney and saw that you got about 11th or so. i ended up 3rd after never winning an all-in preflop. still not bad for my 1st go.

thanks for replies. i really have no regrets with my call but just wanted to reassure myself. just took 3rd when my QQ lost to AJ all in pre-flop, then AQ vs A7. never could win all-in preflop on anything at the final table.

approximately 20 left, i'm huge chipleader with 400k, up 200k on field. i'm in middle position with 99, raise 3bb and get pushed on for 170k more. gut really says it's a coinflip. if i call i have dominant lead and can steamroll, if i lose i'm still in ok shape. but is risking 200k and my huge lead worth it at his point' or wait for a better spot' really curious as i have little experience in big fields like this and am practicing for wsop. guy flipped AJ, caught A on turn.
