GreenDot Prepaid Visa's
Has anyone tried these' I just bought one, going through the process now. $500 limit, but if you get the premium for the 19.95 gives you 2,500 limit.... Was just wondering if any of you have tried these on the various poker sites... which ones might work, might not... dunno, thought i'd give it a try

obv... when u do a trsnfr for somebody you always have them send 1st... so it's your decision who gets scammed, I hate to laugh when i read these posts because how the hell do u guys get fooled like this everytime... i agree with ga as well boogie. i wasted the 2nd half of my senior year playing sooo much poker. just play casually a couple hours a night, build up your roll for the summer time because that my friend is when you are going to realize the $ to be made. i watched my grades plumet, friends having fun without me. stress levels went up. etc etc. just dont take things too seriously as i did, and as i regret.

i moved out a few months ago and sort of regret it. It makes poker way more stressful and way less fun when you have to play with responsibility. It does force proper bankroll management and patience though, which in turn has made me a much better and more understanding poker player. But damn I miss being able to lose a few grand play'n 30/60 trying to hit big, haven't fealt the rush in months :(

i'd say 2/4 and below 4-6 bb/100 hands seems reasonable. 2-3 bb/100 seems more of a good avg for 3/6 -10/20 range.

Hold_emNL is the best Stars 10/20 nl cash player 4 sure. Hall's a close 2nd. if Hold_emNL played Tournaments Religiously like the players on the rankings list. He would without a doubt be top 5.

good info on LOW limit sng's. or with $200 6-8 Table the $10 NL until u get around 1k and then move up to $25. IMO thats the best way.

it's not so much that they are looked down upon. but with the hundreds of tournaments a day the administrators must follow, it is a lot easier to keep track of wins on pokerstars (it's more tournament popular and the easier software, plus the Data bases keep stuff in tact... ), on partypoker it's just so big and so hard to see who wins what and hte software is just so nasty to find things.... so thats why, i'm guessing.

Nah, fox is right. you obv didnt thuroughly read the article. He did not say it makes them better players, but that it turns them into rocks. Once you tell a bad player how bad they are, they are going to play "smarter" against you. I've played a LOT of online hands, and a majority of the time, things go down just as fox said.

i sure hope you found out in time. I was gone a long weekend in November and i got jacked for $2500 and it was on pokerstars and there fast ass transactions they sent the $ and cashed it out be4 i could let support know. I didnt' get anything back :(. I hope this was on a site with insane security.

I play it the same Readzie, theres no reason to give away your hand for an extra $10 raise... You can basically save your hand for a re raise on the BB's which is what is important to collect in LHE.

When I first started playing @ partypoker I had to make a fake ID to withdrawel some $... Fortunately unless i play at tilt i'll never have to do it again, and probly won't. But it worked no questions asked.

bascially at the reso ur talk'n bout u can run 4 really comfortably, 6 max uncomfortably. on 16 12 u can run 4 suppppper comfy and 8 still pretty comfortably. If u get 2 of htem you can 10-12 table with no problem :)
