to add to that my reasoning for the disagreement...the flat for 600 in MP would have thrown me off too if i had JJ in bb...possibly flatting with huge hand, turns out 99 not that big a hand though.

Honestly from what you said in previous posts that you had just been moved to the table i may be a nit but i fold pre-flop with this hand. The way you played def. fold after raise on the turn. What was your thought process on the flop, no bet to see where you were at, cbet' Your hand is weak as you can't even beat the board with two pair and eight kicker. If he is in the big blind a hand like 4/5 suited, etc could be a possibility but with no read on the player you hand is beat in my opinion.

I had a nice blowup live in the '06 world series in the 2k NL event. I had round 50-60K at bubbletime and had a recent player moved to my table with 75K. Everyone else had significantly less. You know where the story goes. Donkeyed off my chips to the one player that could bust me 100+BB in a huge pot with KK all in pre vs AA. Im a tard! Lesson learned...

AWWWWW INNNNNN...you want to isolate the player already in. If you are called by better hand you more than likely have the outs for heart draw.

Your raise preflop was too small, gave all of the others odds to call. Probably raised between 650 and 700. Probably a pot size bet. Shove flop if you get callers!

first hand: fold preflop; no use in playing a hand like this early in the tourny second hand: raise preflop and with your stack with 15BB I might open push and you more than likely drive out K6 pre. but the way you played is fine just got unlucky.

Ok...so i had been playing 2/5 NL this past weekend at the good ol' foxwoods. I had been playing for a good 5 hrs or so when this hand came up. My table was pretty much going to be breaking in the next 5 hands or so as we were 6 handed and others were leaving. I had a good read on the table and was up from my buy in of $500 to about $700ish and said villan in the hand has roughly $600. Prior to the hand, my read on this player was he was very tag. He had shown down two hands in the past 2 hrs that he played (both times AA). To the hand...Im in the cutoff and villan is on the button. UTG ...

any reads on him' I know its early...also stats' did you check those to see what his tourny history was' That would probably be mostly what I would go off of whether or not hes got a solid past, likes to gamble early in tournies, current read in 1st level, etc...I would have flatted his raise to 80 because its so early in tourny though, def. disguises strength of hand and play accordingly from there.

I think you played the hand find but just got unlucky...I dont think a push pre wouldn't be a smart move because you want action with Kings. But on the other hand seeing you were up against the clear chip leader at your table a shove could actually enduce a loose call. You were an obv. favorite b4 the flop and even after, just unlucky...happens. now rant... sorry to throw it on this post!
