The announcers are always favoring someone. It sucks to listen to. Thats the problem with hockey announcing, they hardly even announce the game anymore. Probably why casual fans dont care for it and their tv deals suck. And if by golfing you mean binge drinking, then great.

As a Pitt fan I hate to agree with Sean614 but he is right about the Flyers. They are playing unreal right now. Absolutely embarrassed the Pens. PP is absurd. Goal tending will be the key for them though. I won't root for them but they are a threat to anyone they play. Also Im pretty sure I heard a Russian goalie has never won the cup. Im really looking forward to the Western match ups. Im rooting for the Preds to win the cup (unless Ottawa upsets the entire league.)

Im running one with my friends where you rank each team 1-16. Whatever team wins the series you get the corresponding # of points. So obv your 15-16 teams are who you think will be in the cup. Just throwing out another idea for you guys. So far everybodys picks vary so much its pretty interesting.

That Pens/Flyers shit has been what everyone has been talking about. I'm a Pens fan, I see both sides though. The whole 4th line with a minute to go, it was a clean hit, all the shit people weren't expecting. I have friends who root for the Pens and also friends who root for Philly. All of them have been annoying as hell talking about this shit. Im just glad that rivalry heated up at this point in the season. I cannot wait for the playoffs. Sid was cleared for contact yesterday and could return as soon as Sunday vs Boston. You do realize when he went out this past time the symptoms were coming from his damaged vertebrae' But you're probably right. Everyone else is in mid season form and a player like Crosby won't be able to adapt. Not surprised you'd be a douche about him now, seeing as you were when he came back earlier.

Malkin continues to be a god damn monster. His second goal today was unreal. Staal looking better than ever and Sullivan is finally doing what we expected from Kennedy. Fleury has been a stud. Things are extremely quiet regarding trades from Shero. This reminds me of when he made the Hossa trade. Can't wait to see what he does. The best move the Pens could make is to get a healthy #87. Deadline day is my favorite sports day of the year. I will skip my classes Monday and be watching TV and checking Twitter so much.

Red Lobster: biggest gap between appearance and reality?
I don't mind RL but there is not many seafood options around here. If there were my opinion may change. I ate at Joe's Crab Shack once and never will again. The food was awful.

I don't know why but I find myself rooting for Detroit in their home games. My favorite player in the league is Malkin (homer pick and just love his game) and Datsyuk is my second. Just love how they both play the game. Also love how the past 2 seasons when Malkin wasn't playing at this level, all the Pittsburgh 'fans' were saying to trade him. Fuck off. I hate 95% of Pittsburgh hockey and football fans. They know absolutely nothing about the games. Thats why I understand the hate that Pittsburgh sports fans receive. Weekly NHL Thread Jan 31 to Feb 5
It was weird. The Leafs carried the play most of the game. Then the last 11 minutes it completely changed. They had so many odd man breaks tonight and could not finish. It was an exciting game so hopefully tomorrow is the same. I did not know the leafs this was the second game they gave up the tying goal so late.

I knew you'd be pissed at the goal called back. It was a terrible call. But having a 4-1 lead with 11 minutes left and losing in a shootout is a bad collapse. Also the Leafs missed 3-4 wide open nets (umm schenn). Fleury made some insane saves and that powerslide on Bozak then Letang making the save follwed by a tying goal with 6.6 secs left was unreal. Leafs got screwed on the goal being called back but then were not being called for anything. Officiating is so bad these days. Hopefully tomorrow night is just as good. That was an incredible game.

Best Christmas gift you ever got?
My first bike. It was some Huffy bike that I really wanted and thats all I talked about. Then Christmas morning we finished unwrapping all the gifts and the bike I wanted wasn't there. I was pissed. Then my dad was putting one of my sisters toys together and told me to go to the garage and get him a screw driver. I walked in and my bike was sitting there. I was so happy. Very well played by my parents.

Obv not locks but the games teams I like are Toronto over Carolina, Vancouver over Columbus, Montreal over Islanders. Those are probably my 3 favorites. Also kind of like Boston over LA and Florida over New Jersey. Who knows though betting hockey is a bitch but its a lot of fun. I guess that's sports betting in general haha. Good Luck though.

I have said this so much, the jets are a very fun team to watch. I love Buff. Burmistrov is gonna be a monster. E Kane is killing it this year. I highly doubt that this team would be doing this well if they were still in Atlanta. They have one of the smallest (possibly the smallest') home arenas in the league and that crowd is louder than 99% of the league.

The games tonight were good. So many close ones. Everybody keeps talking about games without Crosby. Pens can win without him. What killed them tonight is having 3 of their starting 6 D men out. Same in Boston. You take the #1 and 2 scoring teams and give them half a Baby Pens defense and thats what happens. Sure it would help if we had Sid tonight but it didn't on Tuesday against the Bruins. Anyways, Giroux is so much fun to watch. Actually the Flyers are really fun to watch. Rangers/Leafs Wild/Sharks- What the hell has been going on with Minn' They look very good. Which NHL game would OT go to?
1. Bruins 2. Lightning 3. Leafs 4. Panthers- They've been exciting to watch this year. 5. Coyotes 6. Devils You should have caught the Pens game on Saturday. Pretty solid hockey and the last minute of the game was incredible. If you are a hockey fan, you will absolutely love going to the games. There is so much you miss on TV that you will see in person. It is easily my favorite sport to attend games. Oh and the Carolina (cheerleaders' ice girls') aren't bad to look at either.
