She may well have got lucky in a few spots at the end, but everyone needs luck to win a big field MTT. What got her to the final table certainly wasn't luck though, she played great and accumulated a lot of chips to allow her to take risks... See the play here 7 minutes into the vid... Thanks for the support of the idea. The main reason I thought of trying to do this through Poker Stars is that I thought that they may like the idea of offering something a little different which is related to their site. I (of course) think that they would look really cool when painted. I've collected hundreds of screen shots of different peoples avatars and am considering doing a series of paintings from them just for myself. I just love the variety of imagery that different people choose to represent themselves. Unfortunately I haven't really got the time to do this at the moment, ...

Of course this probably wouldn't appeal to most people, but I'm sure that there are a lot of players with ten's of thousands spare FPP's that may be interested in getting something a little more personal with their points that would act as a memento for the time they spent playing on Stars.

Idea for FPP store: Would high stakes players be interested?
I'm trying to gauge interest in an idea I just had that I believe would make for a really cool addition to the FPP store. I work as a professional artist and had the idea of making paintings of peoples Poker Stars avatars. Would anyone be interested in this if they were available as an item in the Poker Stars FPP store' I know a lot of high stakes players have a lot of cash and have all the electrical items that they want which are available in the FPP store now. I think having a quality painting on canvas of your own avatar could be desirable to a lot of the higher stake 'balla' ...

OMG I was just watching 'the game' on Pokertube and H@££INGGOL just joined in! If you haven't seen the show I highly recommend it, the play is hyper aggro with loads of sick bluffs. Unfortunatly the comentary is in Sweedish though. The latest episode also has Patrick Antonius, Illari Sahamies (Zigmund) and Tony G in it.

Basically tells you how loose a table is playing... good for sites that allow data mining... higher the number the better/looser a table is. Try saying TY next time someone answers a question for you.. A little courtesy never hurts.

Vol.P$IP/Agg factor postflop PFR/Cbet% Att.to steal blinds rest on pop up stats Have also limited stats shown to latest 100 hands played. I find having stats for 1000+ hands doesnt really give you an idea of how opponents are playing at the moment.

I feel sorry for all of you that think Tilt is the best site... It's easilly got the hardest ring games arround... give players rakeback and the site is infested with regulars. If you can play on Party, play there. Sure the software sucks in comparsin to Tilts, but the game play is soooo much softer.. Tilts $25NL is tougher/tighter than Partys $100NL. Oh their customer service has improved a lot of late.

Okay how about this hypothetical situation, what cards the players are holding is irrelevant: UTG raises, everone folds around to the button who flat calls, the big blind completes. On the flop UTG c-bets, then the button pushes all-in. The big blind now has a decission, he's pretty sure he has the button all-in raiser beat, but is unsure if he has the UTG player beat. At this point the UTG raiser says "If you call I fold". So the BB calls, UTG folds and the button loses a hand he may well of won otherwise. Would people find this acceptable' Of course not. I don't think this is collusion as they were'nt sharing hands or trying to set up a move. I do think what he said was totally out of order though. You should not be able to share information that would otherwise be unknown. In this situation the first player knew that by calling the other player would too, giving him a better price for any draw, which gives an unfair advantage.

Good luck with this. You do have a very very slim chance of success, but I do think it is possible, depending on your abbilites. You're right that this can't be done using proper bankroll management and as such there is a very high % of going bust if you run remotley bad or play bad. What I'd suggest though is using a 6 buy-in minimum. So perhaps start playing $200NL, if you run well and average a 2-buy-in profit per day you would reach $3k after four days. Then play $400NL, again if you win 2 buy-ins a day you would have $6k after 8 days. After that move up to $1000NL where you'd need to ...
