Someone makes a thread and some other person takes it totally out of context and things go off to another universe. I said that there would be learning to do before jumping into trading. I said that 1020K would be enought to get you STARTED! I didn't say its enough to make huge multi-millions of dollars. Advice for U.S Players with a Role! wow. So many opionions, so little time. So i can't spell roll or role, who cares. These days no one can. I never said that you should jump into it with eyes shut. There are courses, books, trainers and a lot of ways to make money trading. I started with a 10K RoLLL and have managed to make money. As per the fact that most people don't make money, well, that's the same in poker. There are very few who are in the positive ROI range. with regards to making a living... well, its all relative. Advice for U.S Players with a Role! Since poker is out of the question now and you like to push buttons and sit on-line, there are many opportunities to make a decent living playing the stock market, forex, etc. etc. Take a course ( they're not long). You don't need a huge role to make a decent living. 10-20K will get you started. You can daytrade stocks and that will fill the Void of playing Poker.. Just a thought.. GL. is this a leak? late in tourny or late sng. Just curious what you guys think of something here. So i'm late in a $4.00 stars last night 30 left. i'm down to 9bb's or so, everyone folds to me.. 67 suited and I open shove. (standard i think) either way forget that i hav 67 could be ATC. The question here is that i think it would show more strength in a 3.5-4x raise instead of open shove. I'm not folding anyway to a re-raise but just thinking here that everyone thinks that i'm shoving with ATC if I open shove and maybe one would get more respect for my hand if I just bet half my stack.
