To Add-on or not??
The only FT I had in a rebuy was when I happened to not rebuy or add on. I ended up chopping first. So, for me, no rebuy or add on is huge +EV. That said, it's completely retarded to not add on always.

Is this + EV Spot?
I agree and would be my line. Wasn't my hand, but still curious to see if there's any arguement for jamming.

Is this + EV Spot?
This is hand from live tourney this weekend. $350 buyin, 419 runners, top 45 get paid. Roughly 25 left and blinds are 3000/6000 with 1000 ante. Average stack is $120K and lots of push/fold going on. Here's the hand: 8 players @ table so $17K in pot. Everyone left to act is pretty tight. In the CO w/ KcJc and $110K stack and folds around. Is preflop jam profitable'

Re:Early Spot with KK
Make sure you're playing 16 tourneys at one time, and then ship it. You'll have no idea whether or not you're still in. If I get in race situation pre, I just pop up another table and don't watch. Seems to keep me from tilting and I just keep loading up tourneys. By "race situation" I generally mean my AA vs AK and KK vs 7d8d, etc...

Re:Butchered hand advice. Mini Main Event
I went deep in this as well and played against most of the guys at your table later on. Everyone was playing pretty basic abc poker. if I were a betting man, I'd say the min raise on turn is telling you 100% he has Q. No idea why you'd call pre-flop raise out of position with J high if you weren't going to shove the flop. Just seached and unfortunately we didn't play any hands together.

Re:Poker in Reno
Played 1-2 at Peppermill and it was extremely soft. Two guys each with around $800 in chips and flop was KdQs5c rainbow. EP made it $50, button raised to $100, EP reaised all in to $800, and then button snap call for $1600 pot. EP has AK, button had 8d5d. AND' running diamonds. Button proceeed to give it all away + several more buy ins. 1-2 and 5-10 at Sierra was very soft as well.

Re:BR management
I base my buy in amount almost exactly by how lucky I feel. Your comment about is about as much of a generalization as my comment. When you're talking about bankroll, is your $20K all you have' Do you play full time' I have $ for live, on stars, on FT, on AP and have a well paying full time job. I typically don't play within my bankroll based on how much I have available in each account, but have never gone broke. I did try the bankroll thing on Stars for awhile and got bored. Based on what I have available and what stakes I play, I probably play way too low. Anyway, I think your ...

running horribly bad
I've heard of people running bad, but never really knew what they meant until now. I have lost what feels like 985 out of 1000 hands when I'm ahead. I'm still playing well and putting in as much volume as I can, but this is brutal. Somehow, becase of volume, br mgmt and winning a few 180mans, I'm up but it's still brutal. ok, done whining. gonna go try to turn it around.
