Re:The following players have stolen from mttbacking <<I agree that most scammers always look very good from the outside....this okstate guy tried to approach me back in the day and probably only because of results. From limited contact with him I always knew there was something wrong and not trustworthy about him. Once I said something to him about it he went mute and i NEVER heard from him again. Haha.>> I did want to go ahead and make another comment about Ostate. He is not a scammer. He is someone that I consider to be a good person, and is not out to hurt or victimize anyone. The following players have stolen from mttbacking Myself and Thechemist83(Jeremy Gaubert) , are each half owners of mttbacking, where we back some poker players. We have backed 60 or so people through mttbacking, and 90 or so through ptp, so it's not surprising that we have had a few people roll. After some deliberation, we have decided to out those who have shown no effort to repay, to prevent them from stealing from others. Here they are: ------------------------------------------ #1 Ben Van Der Ham. Yayoshow on stars, tilt thisAA on tilt, JOEROGIN1991 on UB. UPDATE 2-2-10 Ben has just paid us $4600. We have agreed to a payment ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:My Pokerstars account is hacked all money is GONE!!!! Assuming you are telling us the truth, then... Your friend is the one who did it.... Why' Because the money was lost from your ip, and his account was logged into that ip, and it is very unlikely that someone was able to both physically get on your computer and simultaneously hack your friend. 8ball Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:My Response Between mttbacking and ptp, I have staked about 150 people, so I've got some experience in this area. imo , when someone you are staking steals from you, they owe you all their makeup, plus whatever they stole, therefore Bunk owes all the makeup. Why' Because had Matt been able to continue staking him, Bunk would likely eventually have won and paid down the makeup. However, there is no way that Matt can reasonably continue to send money to someone who has stolen from him, he has no choice but to fire him. Imagine players deep in makeup who want to get out of it. In theory, they could ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Ultimate Bet Constructive Criticism Post ( Roothlus Posting) When you open hand history, and you have been on the table a while, you need to toggle down to the last hand. Instead, the last hand you played should be on top so you don't have to toggle down. Also, it would be nice if it the last hand history autoopens when you open hand history so you don't have to do anything. Also, it would be nice if they were a bit less nitpicky about transfers. If I have transferred to someone a dozen times before, for 10k or 20k total, there is no reason for support to be flagging or cancelling a $1500 transfer. Additionally, when I request support to ... Re:Bodog auto-fold checkbox bug? you don't have to restart for prob #1. As far as your software is concerned, the box is checked. It's just not showing up on your interface. Check, then uncheck the box and you should be good to go, the software and interface will now be synced again. I always do this whenever I have a short disconnect there, assuming that autofold is actually on. 8ball Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): UBOC=ultimate bet online cheating?? I think you will get paid for those last 2 seats, they will just take a little while to get around to it. I assume you know, that you have to send them an email, with the specifics of the tourneys where you won extra seats, its not automatic. And sometimes they need a reminder. or 2. Re(1): UBOC=ultimate bet online cheating?? They may have posted this on their website. But, each individual qualifier indicated the number of seats that were guaranteed in it. So, there was a clear conflict between the website, and the lobby of each tourney where only one seat was guaranteed. I would not have assumed that the website was "correct" and the lobby was incorrect. Especially not to the point of paying people out for chops. I played these, and the lobbies clearly indicated when only one seat was being given away. With UB's sketchy history, I certainly would not have assumed that UB would ever make good on this, ... AUTHORITY. PokerStars retains authority over the issuing, maintenance, and closing of Users' accounts at PokerStars. Re(1): Unethical/Illegal Seizing of Funds by Pokerstars I think the point is: people can not transfer you money that was obtainted fraudulently. It doesn't matter if they owe you the money. If they stole money, you can't accept that stolen money. That money goes back to whoever it was stolen from. Imagine this. I owe you 100k. I rob a bank. I pay you back the 100k with the banks money. The police come and take the money away. At this point , is the argument "but it was a loan, they owed me the money" valid' you aren't being treated unfairly, get over it. 8ball out Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): UB is a joke I have seen a few other things lately. In one satellite. 19 players started with 2500 chips. The other 6 only started with 1500 chips. Rebuy Tourneys where no one was able to addon. Rebuy Tourneys where one table could addon, but other couldn't. My main complaint occurs if I haven't rebooted within the last few hours. If I have a lot of programs up, and do something simple like drag a UB table to another spot, it will sometimes lock my whole computer. the funniest bug is on bodog however. On my laptop, when I get moved to a new table, the new page is mostly invisible. Maybe I can see the ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

I have at least temporarily quit playing on stars, both for financial and emotional well being reasons. This especially sucks since stars has so many great tourneys, and has awesome software.
