In a very short time, he became one of the premier tournament players in the world, online or live. To prove this point, fans can refer to JohnnyBax's first ever Stud tournament, which he won for a World Series of Poker bracelet. Cliff has also captured two PocketFives.com Triple Crowns in his career. In November '08, Cliff took down the FTOPS X Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo Event #15 for $46,000.
