I am an idiot? Obvious I was beaten? The preflop call was your worst move in the hand. If you show your strength preflop here and 3 bet him as you should it wouldn't have gotten to the flop and you win his aggressive preflop raise. After the flop he's not going anywhere with the open ended draw so imo you can't do anything to get him out before the river. The 3 bet shove on the river was a mistake you only have to make once to understand that you can't be shoving without nuts on the river. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

$3.50r - Overpair When the over pair is only 88 to the board of 6625 its a very fishy raise. He can either have you on a complete bluff here or he flopped 2's full or turned 5's full. If he think's you're weak he may be bluffing you out of the pot with AK AQ or a number of non paired hands. Because of the level of play at the 3.15 i would call and take my chance here. It's a decision you'll be right on more than 50% of the time in my opinion and would be long term profitable to make the call here. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Pocket kings you 3x the blind' a 3 bet is when you reraise the original raiser, not when you raise first with a limper in the middle. Learning the lingo may help you with your questions. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

What to do with these aces? if You're scared to lose with AA in a tiny game like that why are you even playing poker' Losses are normal in poker, you have to learn to handle the loss just like you handle wins.
