Paul Ryan Romney's Running mate yeah that would be a welcome change from ads attacking Obama for killing old people through his death panels! Romney could have picked Bozo the Clown for running mate and the conservatives would still have voted for him. Chick-fil-A This isn't about gays, it's about freedom of speech. The CEO is against gay marriage. Him being a devout christian (Chic Fil A's are closed on Sunday's, aren't they') he is entitled to his opinion. Maybe being a public figure too he might have kept his opinion to himself but I also doubt the business will be hurting a lot. There's no such thing as bad publicity and I wouldn't be surprised if they sold more chicken in the short term. Oh and it is about time they launch Nando's in the US! Posted in: Off Topic |

Three live cash hands against the same villain 1) I would check/call to see a cheap turn. As played, the pot is GBP 71 and you have to call GBP 25 which gives you pretty good odds to call and re-evaluate. 2) I think the call pre is fine, a 4-bet would be fine too. Then I always ALWAYS bet the x-x-A flop. Because if you check you just KNOW that a competent player will bet out 100% of the time and you won't know where you are. If you lead out instead and get 3-bet at least you know for sure you're beat. 3) Puke spot. UTG has been quiet so probably has a pretty decent hand. Villain should recognize that yet he reraises.
