anyone have any unauthorized charges from full tilt???
I did not get any charges, but my mom & sister both have gotten a pair of $50 withdrawals from their bank account. Each transaction occured yesterday. They each had two identical $50 charges ($100 total for each) going through their bank accounts. They did not make the deposits, and the money is not even showing up in their full tilt account. I am sure it is some sort of computer glitch, but I was still wondering if anyone else was effected. Weird for sure.

I cover Sports in Georgia and know a great deal about this case. The play was DEFINITELY, 100% ON PURPOSE. One of the players involed (catcher) and his father have admitted it basically. The GHSA (Ga. High School Association) fines the school $1,000 and put them on some type of double secret probation. Also, the catcher had a scholarship to play at Gordon Junior College taken away over this. The pitcher basically goes unpunished, and yes his brother is Ethan Martin (P/3B) that is regarded as one of the Top 10-15 HS players in America. This delay in getting money is B.S. Poker sites can cetainly take money from you immediately. If I can send them money using my check card, then they should be able to load that money back to my card IMMEDIATELY too. If the transactions are illegal/being stopped, it should work both ways (sending or cashing out). It really seems like the sites want you to keep the money on their sites as long as possible. Perhaps in hopes you lose & reload'''' And I do not think their is any where on Planet Earth that takes 15 days for mail to arrive. Maybe Bangladesh to Alaska, but other than that, ...

Obviously there are many options if you simply look around, but the easiest is this... Go to a local bank in whatever town you live in and open a checking account. These banks wil allow you to simply use your check/debit card to put money on the site of your choice. I have been playing online since July of 2005 and have not had a single problem loading money. Also, there are no fees to worry about.

Most of the news channels and the reporters are horrible & certainly agenda driven. However, Fox powns where it counts...They are killing in the ratings and ad sales, and in the world of reality that is all the "higher ups" care about. As far as the "new Lenny", he is obviously a very intelligent person, but he makes Hillary seem conservative (if that's possible).

Just get an account with a local bank (Ga. Bank and Trust where I live). They have them in nearly any city in the U.S. I can use my debit card to load money to all sites & have never had a problem with echecks or paper checks.

It is a shame everyone does not have the passion and enthusiasm for their chosen field. He is great for the game and i love any game he is doing. And Waco, he may not know more than anyone, but he as far as what he needs to know for his job (which is far more than X's & O's) he is as good as it gets. I have been lucky enough to interview him about 6 or 7 times, and he is truly a CLASS ACT, and I have interview my share who were not. I actually took him bagels from Augusta, Ga to the Ga. Dome for S. Marbury's first college game @ GTech.

He has the ability to play individual hands well but just seems that he cannot hold it together over the length of a session or tourney. exception being '06 main event " You do realize he has nearly $6 million in Tourney Winnings, right' I do not think he is the best or anything, but to say he cannot last in MTTs is stupid. 2006 is not even his only Main Event Final Table.

I do agree on all those idiotic insurance deals he tries to do. However, as far as fixing his problem...It would be like me telling a Warren Buffet he should try a few different things in the market. He likely would not heed that advice. (if it ain't broke, don't fix it). Phil has won so often he prob feels like there is no need to fix the problem. The Buffet example may not be great but you get my point. Again, I am not cliaming he is the best. I am not a fan of his either. I am simply saying his prolonged solid results are hard to ignore.

Bond, I do not disagree his game is far from perfect. However, what he is doing is working and it is not like he is on a 1 or 2 year heater. He has been a consistent winner for nearly 2 decades. I was just saying that to try and claim he is bad (which SC has done in the past) is wrong. And to make an argument that we will never have a big enough sample size to prove this is silly. I would say Phil has about as big a live sample size as you can have and he is a proven winner, His math leak (or weakness is akin to Wilt & Shaq being poor free throw shooters. Why use in Company that xharges fees to deposit, when a smaller bank will alow you do use your debit/check card directly. E-Checks are free too, but using epassporte is throwing $ away IMO.

I actually meant no ill will towards SC. I happen to agree with him the vast majority of the time. I just disagree with him about Hellmuth. I am not even a Hellmuth fan (dislike him really). However, in my opinion to claim he is not a good player (which he has done) is wrong. And the logic he uses (too small a sample size) could be argued if Phil had played 10 MTTs a day for his entire life. I do not think he is the best player ever.
