Might I recommend the CROWN MOTEL...less than 3 blocks from the Taj, right next to Constantino's Diner (and cash for gold). $40/night on weekdays, with plenty of room for negotiation. You will also enjoy cold showers and a very distinctive smell- a mix of cigarettes and curry. I've stayed there probably twenty nights, and never been disappointed.

soon after the break of a 3r...no reads except the knowledge that it's a 3r. should i have my poker license revoked' btw, the flop flat call is questionable, but i just felt like it would freeze the people behind and i didn't necessarily want a huge decision on the flop (and i obviously would have gotten paid off had i hit my straight on the turn). edit: the more i think about it, the more i dislike the flop call. but, get past that to the turn/river play, thats what inspired this post. thanks for the advice.
