How should I have played this hand? Nobody has been out of line at the table & it has been a fairly tight table. Buy & Bail - Can I Go to Jail For This? First of all, its not mortgage fraud as long as everything you present for the new mortgage is accurate. I didn't read the whole thread but if your house is worth a lot less than what you owe on it (appraises at $200,000 and you owe $300,000), it really just makes sense to purchase a house at a cost that reflects values of today and sell or have your current one foreclosed on. You should put your house up for sale for what you owe on it or talk to the bank about doing a short sale if the comps are too low. Re:Was it wrong? its a $5 tourney. Some people just don't fold. Make a note on him that he's a calling station and move along. That said, I would just check the river. The other bets are fine IMO. On the river, he's already in for over 60% of his chips so he's calling you down with any pair at this point. So check the river & hope he missed his draw if that's what he was on. playing AK from BB Just wondering what people think is the optimal way to play it. I know its situation dependent so here are a couple: 9 person SnG, 8 players left, avg stack around 1700. 1) blinds 50-100, UTG (2400 chips, won pf allin qq v jj, no other reads) raises 3 x, fold around to bb (3000 chips) who has AKdd. What is the bb's optimal play' 2) same situation but raise from MP... 3) same as situation 1 but you have a caller from MP.. thanks for any input... I wouldn't think that account could get the $$ out in a couple of hours. It should be FT's policy when money is manually transferred to not let that money be cashed out for a least a day.
