What's the biggest mistake you've ever made at work?
was working at IBM support back in the days of OS/2. had been out all weekend and still fucked up from the shit I dropped. Got a customer on the line, HDD was full (common prob back then) so I wanted her to empty the TCPIP/TMP folder, instead got her to empty TCPIP/BIN. Told her to reboot and as she was describing all the errors she was getting I realised what I had done .. Had to cover it up since I was sitting right in front of my manager, just told her her TCPIP stack was corrupted and local support needed to reinstall it. also got to work the day after xmas, completely drunk (slept 1 ...

He is probably sniffing on the wifi network OR he has ARP poisened the network and is routing all traffic through his own machine. Either way, you are not safe on that network in any way. If you want to connect to anything, you should setup a VPN or SSH tunnel to a safe place and go from there.

Hand history replayer
Hi everyone I have played some tourneys and want to share the hand histories of those tourneys with the visitors of my blog. I've looked around for a hand history replayer tool that can be included on a webpage. There are several, but they all support only 1 hand :( I thought it was possible on PXF but I'm not a subscriber there and the hh replayer available to me there with just a non-pay account also seems to be only a single hand thingy .. Either I'm not looking good, doing something wrong, or it's just not out there ... Does anyone have an idea which of these it is ...

Wow this really sucks !!! Indeed most likely you have some sort of keylogger on your machine. Even if you didnt install any untrusted software, you could have been exploited through a webpage. I'm a security expert and could explain in more detail but I don't think thats a discussion for a poker forum. While the RSA token is a great solution, it can also be broken by man in the middle attacks. No MITM attacks have been seen on poker clients, but on many online banking sites it has been done. Its a matter of time before we will see this happen to online poker too. Also, not many ...

I dont see you mentioning any special moves against loose or tight players, so are you actually watching how your table plays ' for instance, I like to see ppl who limp fold and abuse those later i guess you wont see those too much at $33 level .. i never play that though

I got a Mac. Full Tilt and Pokerstars have native clients and they are identical to the Windows versions. I remember when PS added the HH playback thingy, it was added a few days later in the Mac version, so sometimes there is a slight difference .. But you won't be able to run Pokertracker, unless you use something like VMware or Parallels desktop to run Windows on your Mac. I have done this and it works well, and it will also allow you to copy the virtual machine disk image to another machine and run PT from the same license :) The one HUGE advantage you will have, is you will not ...

i have had this same experience for as long as I have been smoking ... whenever I DON'T get whacked for 2 days or more, I start dreaming really vividly and remember a lot of it in the morning. Then when i start smoking again, it all goes away again. I'm dutch so I'm around a lot of smokers and they all say the same thing. However, there have been periods in my life where I didn't smoke weed for a few months at a time (really, it happened ! it was not a dream !!) , and then the effect slowly wears off, meaning I do remember my dreams, but not as good as just after quiting ...

no way this can infect you sometimes vulnerabilities are found in IM programs and you can get infected if you dont update to the latest version in time. however, someone infecting you through a vulnerable version most likely doesn't even need to send you a message ... besides that ... dont accept file transfers and dont tell them your password (or answer to secret question)
