No Limit Hold'em - The Game of Suckouts (an article i wrote) okay for everyone that thinks they are so smart...how come Phil Hellmuth doesn't win every single tournament'...i have rarely seen him get all his chips in the middle wiht the worst hand' but it's funny he loses a lot, and didn't doyle brunson win both his ME championships, getting all his chips in behind with T-2os'....wait i guess T2os vs any random 2 cards is the best hand....wait a minute, i know for a fact that Stu Unger when he won his 3rd ME championship he did not suck out a Striahgt with his A4 vs A8 becuase A4 is a better hand then A8.... oh yeah how come i didnt see Annette_15 at ... god why do good reads and great plays always end up becoming bad beats?!?!?!?! fucking unbelievable.... what are the odds to lose this bad??? so im in the $2 omaha hi/lo tourney on stars....down to about 63 players left....after taking a beat from a guy who was a horrible player just had a lot of chips to call everything anyone bets and get lucky time after time....im in the BB with AJ5K double suited....and 4 ppl call the big blind of 800 (blinds 400/800) ihave about 3700 left....the flop comes JJ6...i check, next guy checks next guy bets i raise guy reraises so i raise it to cap with my three Jack's....guy who bet out folded....now its heads up this guy has more chips then me and on the turn another 6 hits...so im really not ... I use to think "if i get it in with the best hand more times then not i am going to be a winning player," that statement is so wrong i can't believe i believed it. AA is probably the worst hand to have in cash games.. im playing a cash game tonite...two away from the button...i get dealt AA...infront of me there is a raise...then a reraise...and its up to me....so it has got raised and reraised....so my move is "all-in"....the guy on the button COLD CALLS my ALL IN!....so im like he has to have AK or KK....the other two who raise and reraise also call the all in....so the pot is around $80 playing .10/.25 NL.... stud tourney on stars....losing with BOATS FIRST FIVE CARDS! when in the world do you lose two times with a BOAT after your first five give you the best hand.... i get dealt 929...and it isn't completed...so i see the 4th card for free...a 2.....now i have two pair first four...and its bet to me...i raise it and everyone calls...5th street i get my 9....so now i have 9's full of 2's first five cards...only potential threat i see is a guy who caught his second ten on 5th street....next two cards go 10-3 for him and he goes runner-runner-runner full house 10's full of 3's...he was the one who brought it in...starting wtih 10-3-8 rainbow...i love ... for Adam, about SNG's i played 50 $5 SNG's on pstars, and now im on my second of 50 SNG's at the $5 level and the first 10 i am 2 out of 10.....what am i suppose to do'...keep playing, or move up.....its like i come in 4th, or 5th.....its like my hands arent holding up and not making the wrong play...... any help'!'!'!'!' having trouble proving poker is consistent income to the gf the dean22...stakes i play online are small and it varies depending on how i feel....but live i have the roll to play 40/80 limit holdem but more comfortable at 30/60 stud....but trying to build a roll to play 75/150 stud....the most ive had online at on time was around $5k because i cash out often to pay bills and such etc. Posted in: Poker Discussion	Aces_Kid Jun 16th, 2006

having trouble proving poker is consistent income to the gf thank you beariught....you have been very helpful...i keep track of every game i play, just not hands wise...like the buy-in, cashout, how much time i sat in the game, and certain big hands and the way i played them...i keep track of every sit n go and mtt (rebuys as well) and even if i get a free $20 or something for signing up i consider it what i bought in for which i think could be wrong but im not sure....and im glad you are being truthfully honest and i like talking about poker wiht you beairught, you have good ideas and beliefs...and there are times i leave the table just to hang out ... $33 deep stack on stars? whos in? i raised him 2x what he bet....if he bets 1000 i have to raise to 2000 so that means i bet 4000....2x what he be which was 1000 and doing it after i raise seens how you have to raise at least 1000.....if you want to be techniqal about it then yes i raised 3x what he bet but in a raise you have to at least raise the minimum of 1000 so 3x 1000 would be 3000 plus what he be 1000 would be 5k....if you dont get it, its ok Aces_Kid Posted in: Poker Discussion	Aces_Kid Dec 10th, 2005

How did you do in ur first ever 215 stars tourny....? i took 536 or something about 12 before the money....i got it all in with KK vs AK....after being crippled by the same hand earlier with KK vs AK...i lost yet again....this time to a flush instead of an A....but i only showed three hands the whole time...AA, AA, and QQ....and still guy has the nerve to call with AK....
