Reaching out to Atlanta poker players!
I do know of a few cash games that run, which are run well. However, I only know of one place to play tournaments, which is at the America Legion Post #160 in Smyrna. They run tournaments throughout the week, but not on Wednesdays at the moment. The name is On Tilt Promos. I usually head down there once or twice a month. Buyins are usually around the $100+ range.

Merge and Bovada (Bodog) Deposits & Cashouts
i moved to atlanta from the uk and i am trying to deposit money on carbon poker using my visa card from the uk. none of my deposits are going through!! i have called my bank in the uk to make sure that the card is ok to use abroad, which it is and not quite sure what to do. i dont want to have to use another deposit method!! can anyone help or let me know if they are having issues depositing using a visa card' thanks.

Reaching out to Atlanta poker players!
Guys, I've been in Atlanta for one yr and wanted to see what most people in and around Atlanta do for poker. I know there are free bar games, but those do not interest me one bit. Playing for 4-5hrs to win a measly $25 is not really interesting lol. I do actually know of tournaments that are held in Smyrna, but what do the majority of ya'll do'

Summer in Vegas 2012
Best places to play IMO are Bellagio, Wynn, Aria, Venetian and Planet Hollywood. PH is by far the softest as its full of drunken fish and its more people having a good time as opposed to a serious grind. Bellagio is by far my favourite though!! Have fun.

Bring back PokerStars to the US - plsssss
I'm in Alpharetta. I hear of people saying you can drive here and drive there to play poker, but I am not used to driving for hrs on end. I think the longest journey by car that I took in the UK was about 4hrs. I went to Vegas in March and loved it, but nothing beats being able to play from the comfort of your own home and in a tourney for only a few bucks that could yield a 4 figure return. I think i'm just missing Stars right now because the SCOOP is on and I can't participate. What are the chances of GA giving the green light for online poker' They don't even have casinos in GA, which ...

That needs to be updated!! Unfortunately I don't. I moved to Atlanta, GA last year and it sure sucks I cant play on Stars. One thing I certainly miss about the UK. That and getting 6 weeks of paid time off!! Companies in the USA clearly don't value down time.

Vegas for the first time
As the title suggests, I will be heading to Vegas this year for the very first time. I am super excited and can't wait. I am planning to stay at the Vdara, which seems to be in a prime location and is a 5* hotel. What i'm really looking for is information on the best places to play tournament poker. I want to keep my buyins less than $100 a pop. Thanks in advance

If you are a resident of the UK and then travel on vacation to the USA, why is it not possible to play on pokerstars' If you are not depositing any money through a USA bank account, nor withdrawing any money inside the US, then what is the problem' If someone could shed some light on this issue I would be very happy. Thanks

The answer is simple. Merge is the option for US players. Carbon or Lock Poker. However, I would advise against playing on either of these because you will easily be able to deposit money, but when it comes to cashing out, ur gona be fcked!! no point literally. hang on to your money, or play live. No point in any US player to play online until regulation

I for one don't think that regulation in the US will have any impact on what the greatest online poker site in the world will be. Stars dominates in terms of what they offer, and it would take years on end for any new site to build a client base and have a schedule near as good as stars. pokerstars rocks!! Just a damn shame US players are shut out. SAD SAD SAD : ((( They clearly operate a legitimate business, and anyone who has money on there can rest assured that the funds are in good hands. I miss that site damn it!!!
