Sattelite/ Freerolll Strategy
I played in a sattelite at Bodog a while ago where at another of the 3 tables remaining the players discussed and agreed to each fold every hand and wait for the bubble to burst on the other tables.Unfortunately it did leaving me as the bubble boy and feeling a little aggrieved so I emailed support complaining about the blatant collusion. Their response was to freeze my account and then do nothing.I didn't persist with my complaint and they later unfroze my account but I haven't played on Bodog again since then. I'm having the same problem as Maico.I've pm'd and emailed 32Red Nick but with only half an hour before the freeroll is due to start it doesn't look like the minimum 3 entries is likely to happen.

Fortunately myself and 1 other player were able to find it and I felt getting dealt pocket fives on the first hand was a good omen.After about half an hour of back and forth I was again dealt pocket fives,raised and called a shove and they held to win the match!

I was there a few months ago and could play on Stars but not UB or Party.Mind you it is illegal and I wouldn't be too comfortable playing in a public place.You might end up staying a lot longer than 10 hours.

Flattening the top 4 or 5 payouts is a great move.Online tournaments payouts have always been ridiculously top heavy considering how little play huge blinds and antes allow.I think 10-15% of the prize pool is more than enough to reward the winner for flipping well at the end. I agree that only 10% of the field should get paid but it should be something worthwhile and it's hard to do that when the top 3 are getting half the money.

I've been running bad in tourneys lately too and it's very disheartening to say the least. "Everybody will eventually run worse than they thought was possible. The difference between a winner and a loser is that the latter thinks they do not deserve it."......Irieguy on 2+2. Problem is I really don't deserve it. :)
