I do agree with this, however it sounded like in the high stakes player circles of 2010 this wasn't necessarily the norm. I still probably side with Bakes given the info we have at hand but their community definitely operates (or did operate) with a different set of rules.

Giving a bunch of retards on the Internet pictures of yourself nipping in the water and telling them to go 'fap' is ridiculous attention whoring, and it obv worked. I have nothing against Matt or Maridu and always liked both of them as posters but sometimes you even have to tell people you like when they are being ridiculous. This thread has been a disaster since page 2.

At the other table, Dan Martin raised to under the gun, and James Lee made the call from middle position. Everyone else folded. Martin checked the 764sss flop, and Lee bet 80,000. Martin moved all in, and Lee went into the tank for a good three minutes. "Let's go," he finally announced, forcefully setting in a stack of chips to indicate a call. Lee: AsKx Martin: JsJx The turn was a Kc , and Lee took a hammerlock with kings. A 4c came on the river, and Martin was forced to ship away more than half of his stack.

Lol I have a pretty good grasp of the Jaybone experience and have been apart of it more than only a couple of people. I'm just saying anytime he sits down to play cash go play this tourney instead. He has to fund his shots at the daily somehow.

Dude it's not the most glamorous tournament, but if you're trying to grind a roll get over the Planet Hollywood and play their $70 tournament with 1K guaranteed to first. This tournament has gotten me out of a hole in vegas so many times it is ridiculously soft. It goes off at 10am, 1pm, 4pm and 7pm every day. It usually gets like 40-50 players, maybe more during the series but this is honestly the best value for your dollar in that entire city. Cash in that a few times then hit the rio.

EDC Vegas 2013 --- who's going ?
God Calvin Harris is the worst these days, he, Avicii and Alesso went so far downhill so fast. Not saying I wouldn't chase the money like those guys but damn Calvin Harris puts on one of the most uninspired shows I've ever seen in my life. It sucks because he used to do stuff like that and was amazing.

That sucks, there are a few people selling on /r/electricdaisycarnival and I'm sure they are less than 1k I'm doing electric forest this year, but I'm sure ill be at EDC next summer if it happens (saw some news they might shut it down)

Single Day Tickets don't exist and the artist schedule won't be out until the first day most likely or maybe a couple days in advance, I can't remember what they did last year. Your best bet would be to hit craigslist and scoop someone's wristband on Sunday who doesn't want to go.

Proper baked potato thread
I read something that said baste with oil and then finish it off with butter and add some Thyme or Rosemary and garlic. I guess butter's smoke point it too low for how hot you need to baste the steak. But if you do it at the end the proteins in butter will brown and give your steak a nice dark exterior. edit: found it , one of my favorite inter posts of all time.

Proper baked potato thread
Won't argue with the potato but please don't marinate a well marbled New York strip with anything but salt and pepper. Also I understand that it's badass to eat a New York strip rare but that fat in the steak won't start melting until 125-130. All you're doing by not cooking it medium rare is denying yourself the sweet flavor of cooked, marbled cow fat. Cook it to 125 and rest 5 minutes. You won't be disappointed.
