Big mistake in this hand here what should be done 4 handed final table cake 3k gtd Unlucky, but you still had 40+ BBs here and little info o this guy. Unless he was 3 betting you a lot a 4x raise from here might be something you could respect. Dont like calling here much and the flop would be hard to get away from. Just because one HP laptop was bad does not mean that HP laptops as a whole are bad. i have an HP dv7 with 6 GBs or ram and 500 gbs of HD and an Intel Centrino 2 chip. Its works great and I have never had problems with it over the 14 months I have used it. 17 inch screen and you can tile up to 6 tables easily..The advantage that laptops have are that you are not planted to the computer desk like you are with desktops. If you need to cook you can take your laptop to the kitchen. If you need to chill in the bathroom and not only during a 5 min break you can take the laptop with you. their just ... Is getting no action with your big hands part of variance The last week or so it seems like I am not getting a lot of action preflop when i get big starting hands or post-flop when i hit sets or what-not and I am getting 3-bet a ton when i have marginal starting hands or I am just trying to steal blinds. Now I know that getting sucked out on is considered variance and what-not, but is hardly ever getting action when you wan it part of variance also' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Small Ball play when OOP I usually play small ball in MTTs and I love Daniel Negreanu's explanation on how to play many spots, but one that can be sticky is when you have a big pp and an overcard flops. I like that he thinks you should check the flop, but when OOP and the villian bets out if you just call you get no info and in this spot i really feel like the guy has a range of small pps to mid pps and up to AJ,AQ,KQ well pretty wide. Re:harrington on holdem, is it gonna help for online or live HOH is a good baseline book for handling your stacks esp when getting short I imagine, but IMO Negreanu Power Poker( Daniels Small Ball section actually) is better for this day and age and also the Winning Poker Tourneys One Hand at a time is more updated OBV as well although the Rizen/Apestyles Books are ones I am just starting so i cant really give a review on them yet.... Consensus was that it's the nuts and instafold 90% of the time.. and Pick had AQ for top 2 in that hand. I'm gonna fold as played, unless you have reason to believe that the guy is trying to valuetown/bluff at the same time with something like AK but not the Flush.
