OK. Who Can Guess These Hands. Very descriptive. Brag' Because I flopped quads' no sorry not here buddy Ive made quads multipul times in this game and actually made quad Ts the week before and made created a nice pot but the hand was boring and standard. To be honest I wanted to show my thought process and see what the process was from people like you. If I gave a background on the people involved I assumed people could create the scene and analyse the hand themselves. I dont understand where the lack of analysis is. A tough river spot for trip 9s against a tight opponent in a cash game I apologize, you are correct but I would have put a raise in on the flop or turn either way. Betting a decent A on the flop doesnt seem out of like then when he connects on the turn he just continues. Making a raise on the turn would have created a nice pot with trips and a decent kicker plus you can close his range up with whatever action that follows by him. You are not repping a 9 at all here so its believable that AT+ (even a small possibility that A8 would seem strong but i dont see someone stabbing at the river like this with A8) would be a good hand here and if he has AJ its a monster ... AK in a 3bet pot out of position do I play back here? I completely agree although I dont like the min raised multi way pot. I like raising in this spot get it to heads up follow up with a cbet and if there is and raises sent to me I would obv just reanalyse. This was just to create a discussion whats the point in your sarcasm [personal attack removed] If you dont like the tread because its not up to your top 100 status then dont fuckin read it. Btw if you saw my OP I wanted to see people analyze the hand and I was going to compare my thought process to theirs but it true fashion noone responded so I added my analysis to try to generate more of a discussion. Funny thing is obv I would have liked more people that were higher ranked to support the thread and respond to it so I could match my process with a proven player(s) except the only ranked ... I thought it was a good hand for discussion as the players tendencies are dramatically different OK here was my thought process during the hand. Now guess my hand again... Delt XX put the raise in with intentions of calling raises from the button and straddler but folding to a MP raise. Flop of JJ4. Shit great flop but I need to inflate the pot without losing the aggressive players. I decide to chck call any bets made... turn 8h. OK. Who Can Guess These Hands. Very descriptive. Short background: Straddler = is a loose aggressive player with a good knowledge for the game. Ive played with him a while and we usually play pretty passive against each other (weak play since we know each other well) MP = Extremely Tight Passive. I have whitnessed him check call top boat 2x thinking each person had a case card. One hand in particular he limped pre, 4 callers flop came J99 he check called a bet 2 folders, turn 9 he check calls river goes check check. He shows JJ and said wow thought you had the 9. TT in the warmup Not in a million years does this dude fold here unless he is absolutely terribad. 3 betting 6 bigs of a shorter stacks 17 total bigs when he origionally raised then folding makes no sense. The 3 better had to plan on a 4th bet being a ship. Hes not folding... I would think you were beat most of the time with a small percentage of the time seeing the 3 better flip AK, AQs, 77-99. I dont see him 3 betting you with pairs up to 66 unless you have been very loose so I would assume 77-99 a minimal amount of times AK, AQs more times and JJ-AA more times. TT in the warmup ^^^^ Obv this.^^^ I may not be too happy putting it in here but after commiting the 4400 i think your commited with TT. Shitty spot because the 3 better is obv going to call your shove. Hopefully he has 77-99 but Im pretty sure he woke up with a hand like gags described JJ-AA AK and probally AQ. He should be expecting you to 4 bet shove after you left yourself 15 bigs so Im sure he planned to call your shove. Unless I KNOW this dude would only be 3 betting here with JJ+ Ill lay it down but as gags said 99% of the time I cant fold here. Very read dependent. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

what is the longest session you have ever played? 10 hours at the opening $1k at Mohegan (when they reopened the poker room). Busted set over set in 2 hands within 45 minutes. Tilted then played 2/5 for 8-10 hours making most of my money back from the 1k. Lost with KK on a AAAKK board to AQ. Lost the minimum tho. Immediately got up and dumped 1/2 of my money playing Roulette, left and made 6-800 playing BJ. Left at 11am the day after getting there at 8am. Then drove the 2 hours home tried playing at my local club but they hadn't opened. Went home to relax for 2 hours until they opened. Fell asleep and woke up like 18 hours later lol Posted in: Poker Community |

WSOP Live Coverage with Hole Cards Starting in an hour and a half (3 ET) I have to say that the idea ESPN has with the live feed has been great. I love the fact that they don't show the hole cards and the hands are unedited. The ability to play the hands from home is great, checking our own reads, calling hands and analyzing plays has made it a great show. With the exception of PH I love the ability to match my analysis with a well respected player, especially Olivier Busquet. I don't get a opportunity to do so in my personal life so its nice to have someone (albeit on TV) verify my reads or they way I would play a hand. And it was fun correcting Antonio on some ... WSOP ME Hand at 100 200 level flop bet of 800 into 5k, with the 3rd nuts btw... Y would you flat his raise and not just 3 bet here. Seems like a great spot to get your chips in. Q turn isnt the greatest card for you and you lead for 7k'' Flop bet of 800 into 5k then a turn bet of 7k into 10k. What are you trying to rep' River is possibly the worst card to see. Seems like a terrible line and a very badly played hand. 3 bet the flop get in in after he ships and chop if he really had AK, if he flips over K9 or 99 oh well but Im not getting myself into a situation like this with such a strong hand.
