Pokerstars Purchases FTP???
Pokerstars is going to get negative publicity if they don't make this happen regardless of the statements they make. There's just too much anticipation. I thought a statement was coming towards the end of the week, so hopefully it works out. I guess at this point, I'd prefer no statement rather than a negative one.

ICM v.s. Chip utility advantage:AK on the bubble? Is the optimal play to fold into $?
If anything, you have less chances to exploit higher level thinkers in a 1k+ event so it would make this even more +EV. If you can't afford to lose it, don't play it... EZ ship, especially with the dead money steal.

GBT moving forward with or without FTP
Figured I'd share: /. No idea how GBT can hire old FTP staff and continue a poker site without a stronger foundation. Possibly even a future still with FTP with DOJ approval. Don't really know how to make sense of it all, but is very interesting nonetheless.

Atlantic City Bachelor Party Recommendations
A friend and I are planning a bachelor party in AC and I have no experience there. Any thoughts of Hotels, Casinos, Restaurants, or services (limos, strippers, w/e)' There will be a group of about 10 of us, and we all like to gamble, drink, and have a good time. I figured anyone who regularly goes or lives close by could really help. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

They certainly have leverage here, if anyone does. However, the DOJ wants to get this resolved too, allowing them to generate tax revenue. If the PS deal falls through, no one else is going to pick up all of this outstanding debt/mess of a business. You can only hope that things didn't work out between GBT and FTP, because the DOJ were confident that PS would sign on the dotted line. The deal seems eminent from what we've heard.

Terrible to hear. I can relate, I'm a 26 year old Type 1 Diabetic. To treat hyperglycemia, you just have to introduce sugar into the victims body. I can gurantee he was unconscious, otherwise he would have been able to take care of the problem himself.

It's obviously going to take some time, and to speculate would just be a guess. I wouldn't get to ahead of the situation at hand. Hopefully the deal goes through and we can then worry about getting our money from the DOJ.

So I just dl'd a trial of Hold'em Manager 2, and a little confused about all of the default HUD stats shown. There's 4 numbers and I was curious how each is calculated. I believe it goes something like this: VPIP/Raise %/NOT SURE'/3bet % I looked through the FAQ's and was unable to find anything, any help is very appreciated!
