I am amandaw111. This is my story. Ordinarily i'd agree with this except your smoking pot affects no one but urself (for the most part) , but cheating directly affects thousands of others for thousands of dollars (in total).....so i agree it's not always "right" to out someone, I think in this debate it's perfectly ok. Backing Ethics I"m backed and have a much more flexible relationship based on the trust and reliability I had on a different forum. With that said....if your contract was for him to play $3 mtt's. I see no problem if he was to get another backer that would back him for say $26 mtt's. You get ur cut on ne monies earned from the $3 and the other backer gets his cut of monies from the 26's...Personally this would be too time consuming for me if I had multiple backers to keep track of much less if i was the backer with multiple horses.... The question I would have....does ur "exclusive" rights state that it's ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

No Not Baxter Can you please explain this... Randers. I don't think the OP meant any disrespect to the player. Though I will say with the first couple of lines of his post it did sound like it was gonna get out of control....but the rest of the post is more representative of what the OP's "tone" Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:TT in 28k and 50/50 These players in the 28k will reraise with AQ and also 88+. Now this villain seems somewhat competent (basically a 0 profit) so he's not a complete clown (but not completely competent either if we go on db results). But early in this tourney..i'm probably shoving that turn. He could very likely have an Ace or a worse pair. If this were the $50 I would have pause to consider a fold (but there are alot of clowns there too). I think sometimes you overthink the hand and give him a range that you "believe" he should be raising with instead of thinking what a clown would do. Just ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:HH deep in 27.50 on Stars... in the first hand i had 99. So i think this is an ez laydown. The other hand i had QQ and was going with it. My read on shane was he was opening alot of pots and playing his stack well. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Look at this email I got from Stars.. I love the argument that some ppl can't afford unlimited rebuys. OK....if you consider this tourney a freezeout. Do you hate having a player go allin with ATC''' If you do, then you're not a thinking player. The advantage allins have like this during rebuys are put chips on the table and that is ALWAYS a good thing. A rule is a rule and I think the rule needs revamping. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:WTF do I do here? redirk.....my analysis would be different if the OP said he had a read on this player, but he makes no mention of him opening more pots or nething. Because of this I have to defer to the villain opening a tighter range from early position. Second....i'm on same thinking as andres....I fold here with no read and stay away from this situation OOP. Re:WTF do I do here? With no reads on ANY of the players. Then with how he proceeded to play i would guess JJ because of the small bet on turn. I presume ppl are bad til i see otherwise. And like i said. I prefer folding pf instead of playing it oop....but if you are going to play it OOP, then i think you have to raise it....but ONCE again, I prefer a FOLD here, my other assumptions are based then on how it's played after. Re:WTF do I do here? Honestly i'm not happy with how you played any of the streets during this hand. PF -- With no reads, I tend to tighten player's ranges, so for me, i put this villain raising utg+2 (mid pos) to AT+, KQ, and possible KJsuited, and some mid pp's. With this range is just not a hand I want to play oop. For me this is an ez muck, but if I were to play it I would probably raise here to get the information i needed to and would thereby save chips by not being in a tough spot like u are on the flop. Flop -- This would be the third best possible flop I would want to see if I DID play this ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:To Fold or Not To Fold Pocket AA's Leading 100k with 9 Players remaining rondor...i'll give you one serious reply even though i'm not sure it's warranted. The idea is to get HU allin with AA. Doesn't matter if it's 6 bets pf or just 3 bets, but just to get it HU. The more hands involved decrease your likelihood of winning, though you are still the favorite. Just a quick summary. P.S. The day I let ppl at my table dictate whether i'm making good plays is the day I let a cat into the house. Posted in: Bad Beats |
