Hazel, from the way the hand played out I thought that the shorter stack would have a flush draw and the guy who tanked would have a weaker King (maybe K9 or something). So on paper your analysis looks correct. However, the Crown 2/5 NL game is prob one of the weirdest (and usually very soft) game there (softer than the 2/3 game there). So anyway, the turn came an 8 of spades (with the two other players still all in obviously) then the bigger stacked Seat 2 started shouting "spade me!!!" which was even weirder. Thoughts on this hand... (KJ on a board of KK3)
Hey guys. This is my first legitimate post on P5s (member of since 2005). This hand came up today at Crown Casino playing 2/5 NLH. A few regulars were there who witnessed it and I'm mainly keen for some feedback/ advice on the hand from people who are familiar with the Crown 2/5 game or from someone who witnessed/ heard about it today. But of course, any comments/ feedback is welcomed' Ok. Sometimes... only sometimes, I fold two black aces preflop in fear that someone else will have two red aces and the board will come all diamonds...

Definitely a call in my mind. Perfect time for a double up too. I mean, would it make you feel any more comfortable if you had AK' This looks like a late position (blind vs blind) raise with a mediocre ace. And then, seeing as though it's a $3 tourney, over playing it on the flop. I call and expect/ hope to see A9, and anticipate a worse case scenario of A5 or A4. Would love to know what actually happened..

Ok here is my perceived experience of playing with Phelps online. I'm secretly hoping he will SOMEHOW read this and either confirm or deny it because it's been driving me nuts. I was playing a full ring table, $1/2 NL at Full Tilt. I mildly berated a layer for making a, what I thought, was a pretty bad call against me. Wow, I am actually impressed. Not only from a solid-profit perspective, but also due to being a profitable player in all tiers of tournament poker (single table, small multi table and large multiple), not to mention having a very nice ROI of 74% as well... I take that 6K win a few days ago contributed to that (congrats on that btw) :). Well well well, I think much of your success can definitely be contributed to your conservative bankroll management. I mean, with a bankroll of approx $20K you can obviously afford to (and even still have technically correct bankroll management) by playing ...
