UPDATE ON THE SPORTSBOOK SITUATION So a few days ago I posted about sportsbooks having had 1 of their checks bounce. Since then it has been a mess. I have accrued $300.00 in banking fees as a direct result of this and still have not been refunded my $550.00 that originally bounce. I also had a $1,200.00 withdraw that was pending for 2 weeks. With regards to the bounced check and the bank fees: I had to fax them a copy of the returned check, as well as a bank statement. They informed me that they would not reimburse my account UNLESS this was done. So I called them 3 hours after the fax and they stated that they recieved it, ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

F SPORTSBOOK AND THE CAKE NETWORK I play on their and have done quite well. However, the last two checks that they have issued to me have BOUNCED! This has caused me an additional $300 in banking fees. Oh and the last check of $1,200.00 they are currently holding for what they describe as "technical" issues on the check processing company's part. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:HU Mission ty, I am unsure as to what my actual ROI is. I am playing on FullTilt, not using my pokertracker, and only using sharkscope as a reference. Unfortunately, I am not a subscriber to sharkscope and thus can only view my total ROI (regular SNG's included). I wish I actually knew. L* Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:HU Mission lastly, I do realize that 10k is a bit lofty of an expectation. I will however, give my best to achieve this goal. I am afforded the chance to play throughout the day, but the timing is sporadic and the amount of time I can play at each time is roughly 25 minutes. Therefore, HU SNG's, is the only game that fits into my plan. I will admit that I am concerned about my ability to play the needed volume on a daily basis. Any help/advice would be much appreciated. Re:HU Mission regarding this, is there anyone that could provide me with some HU statistics' I watch livb112 and his ROI is somewhere near 6%. I believe mine is currently around 5%. I am winning at about 59-61% of my matches with a very small sample (300 matches). Can anyone more informed than I provide me with a winning percentage that I should be shooting to be around' Also, anyone with any ROI information solely for HU matches, I would greatly appreciate your help. HU Mission I am a fulltime father & police officer, so my time to play is sporadic and limited. However, my love for poker is unquestioned. I am constantly reading, reviewing and thinking about poker. I am determined to complete this task. I want to play JUST HU SNG's and build my roll to 10K by the end of the year. I am writing this to keep myself motivated throughout the year. I started on May 1st, 2008. I started with $40 in my Fulltilt Poker account. I will play at a given level until I reach 20 buy ins for that level. I know this is somewhat low, but I feel my ability can handle the ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): For ANY1 who has played 2k+ SNG's I have a fulltime Job and usually cash out money as my BR starts to get larger. This is the main reason I have not moved on to bigger buy ins. Also, I kinda wanted to see where about I stood in the ROI% land before moving up. I have been playing poker for years though (and actually have written some articles one being on this site) and almost feel embarrassed that I am not sitting atleast at the $16 level. p.s. Mase, what's ur screen name on stars' L* Posted in: Poker Discussion |

QUESTION ABOUT UB???? I have a friend who recently cashed out $1,000.00 from UB. He lives in the U.S. They sent him the check which he subsequently deposited into his bank account. He then recieved a message from his bank saying that they could not cash his check due to insufficient funds. Has anyone else experienced this and what was the end results' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): what am i doing wrong in cash games? I have a 11.5 poker track BB and also have a pretty signifigant hands played. My vpip is 31.26 and my pre flop raise % is 22. Without having watched you play, I would rate your play as tight/weak. You don't want to be "calling" a lot on the river. And you have to start raising more with weaker hands when folded to you in position. Part of winning cash games is projecting the right image. Right now your image seems to be that of a tight player who is easily bluffed. I play exclusively 6 max. Hope this helps and good luck. L* Posted in: Poker Discussion |

From Pokerstars regarding U.S. players... Someone stated yesterday that a rumor was floating around about Pokerstars shutting down operations for U.S. citizens. I wrote them and asked and here is their response. Hello, PokerStars will continue to offer its services to players from the US. You may play on our site as you did prior to the recent developments. You may read our company statement on the web site at / We would like to reassure you that all funds held with PokerStars are completely secure. Player deposits are held in a separate bank account so that they remain completely isolated from all other aspects of the ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): THE PROBLEM... Yes this too is a concern of mine, albeit it a very small concern. I am mainly disturbed by the sheer amount of fish that no longer will be swimming in my hunting ground. I am not jumping to any conclusions, but I am already setting up my live play schedules to compensate for the lack of online games. (just in case) Posted in: Poker Discussion |

THE PROBLEM... Many of you are missing the big picture here. The problem is not Neteller leaving, the problem for US players is that all others will now shy away from U.S. players and thus leaving us without a viable deposit option. This is not a problem for me, as I have enough in the 3 sites that I play on so that I will not have to deposit. The problem is that all the newbies and fish are not going to take the time to find alternative routes and thus drying up the player pool. Have you even seen a fish tank filled with sharks that have not eaten in weeks' Sharks feeding on sharks cannot be good. L* Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Therefore once neteller pulls, the fishies will all dry up and online poker will be a shark blood bath. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
