What does your typical diet look during the day' Even if you're not lifting, having whey around is good because its insanely quick and easy to make a shake that will in one sitting give you anywhere from 24-56g of protein, with between 120-320 calories (depending if you make a single/double shake, use water or milk, etc). The only downside is that (for me at least) I don't tend to get filled up from drinking a shake as opposed to eating a legit meal, but they're great for a mid meal snack or to hold you over before bed or something. Electoral college changes?
I guess I wouldn't mind if they did it for all 50 states, but cherrypicking states to apply it only to states that are blue/lean blue is pretty slimy IMO

They changed the format of the Candidate's Tournament this year to double round robin (it used to be a knockout) with (I believe) Classical time controls. So each player plays the other 7 players twice, once with white and once with black. Carlsen withdrew from the last Candidate's tourney because he didn't like the format (justifiably so, it was a complete joke), but I can't imagine him not playing now that they've adjusted the structure. The field is: Gelfand Carlsen Aronian Kramnik Radjabov Ivanchuk Grischuk Svidler Kramnik's one of the few players who gives Carlsen trouble ...

Good stuff qjuice.....getting that monkey off your back is an incredible feeling. Havent had a chance to look at the game yet but will def take a look later. On a somewhat related note, Carlsen is just shredding everybody. He just won the corus tournament with 10/13 and has the highest rating of all time (gonna be something like 2880). Really hope he decides to play in the candidates tournament and take a shot at the World title.

Pretty sure I went on the record before the season started saying I was skeptical how Griffin would turn out. I'm ok with eating crow on that one. The dude is just ridiculous. Luck is absurd as well.....2012 was just one of those blessed draft classes that comes around once every 10 years or so. The Eagles might be beyond terrible but I got front row, 20 yd line for the Redskins game the day before Christmas eve, get to go watch mr. griffin play up close and personal with a few of my buddies. I'm amped.

What are you going as for Halloween this year?
Found literally the exact same sweater vest from this movie for $12 a week ago, figured all I needed was some gray slacks, white wingtips and a white t-shirt, then puff my hair out with some pomade, maybe bring a microphone with me or something. I have a similar (enough) leather jacket as well. Not sure how many people will recognize it but I figured it's quick and easy and cheap enough so whatevs.

Great thread S1nner. I love the field I work in (web dev/design) but don't really like my job. This is mainly due to policies at the company I work for, and some asshole managers above me that have no problem throwing everyone under the bus to cover their ass if something goes wrong. Ultimately, I never really realized just how important having a good management team was until I felt the pain of working underneath a shitty one. I went to school for economics, worked briefly in finance and taught myself web design on nights and weekends back in 2008. Started doing freelance work and paying ...
